(Premier League 2023/2024): Highlights Liverpool - Crystal Palace

And Crystal Palace on a key afternoon in the Premier League looking of course for that first away win under Oliver Glasner. Anfield stood silent in remembrance to all those who lost their lives and to share love and support for the families, the survivors and all of those impacted by the Hillsborough tragedy. Wharton's ball. Great move this. Mitchell. Eze! Crystal Palace lead at Anfield. What a well-constructed goal. Wow says Jurgen Klopp. And having pulled Liverpool apart Eze provided the finishing touch. And here is Eze. Oh it's a slip. Mateta's in here. Mateta for 2-0. Did that cross the line? Well Andy Robertson has his name sung loud by the Kop and this was astonishing defending. Robertson's ball in. Bobbling around. Van Dijk's there. It's still bobbling around. It's off the crossbar. Crossbar ultimately to the rescue here. Robertson's ball is a pinch. And Lerma and Henderson actually stopped what would have been a very good Liverpool equaliser. 10 minutes gone in the second half. Oh that is kind. What a block that was. Darwin Nunez can't believe he's not scored. It's a mistake here and it's a brilliant block again. Eze's ball forward is a really good one. And it's Mateta! Powers Alisson kept that out. Beyond me here goes Cody Gakpo. Oh he's released Jones. Jones for Liverpool. He's put it wide. Cody Gakpo. It's another ball in. Xhota's touch. Salah's there. Amazing defending once more. Crystal Palace have done it. Liverpool nil. Crystal Palace one.
