(Bundesliga 2023/2024): Highlights Werder Bremen - Stuttgart

Even when the number six is tightly marked, they're still playing those little triangles. That means elsewhere must be space. There's a beautiful little ball for Unda, who hits it straight at Zettere. The most efficient side in the Bundesliga, Stuttgart, they on average only need seven efforts per goal. They've not had that yet. Here is Girassi, flicks off the wall and it needs the flick from the keeper. One five in a row, Stuttgart away from home. That is a new club record. Oh, that's a lovely ball, though. And here's Agu and he waited and waited and now we're waiting. And the referee points to the spot. Coming in completely unnoticed here. Leverling tried to clear and then he's clumsy with the challenge. Does he get anything on the ball first? Doesn't look like it. It looks very much like that is not going to get overturned. The chance he would have wanted. Marvin Dukša against Neubauer and he makes it. It sneaks into the corner and Bremen have themselves a really positive start. They're promising. Schmidts and Dukša is opening up for Marvin Dukša to Ben Juan and just Ben Juan wide. Over comes Friedland. Girassi surrounded by green and white shirts. That's chip for Unda off the bottom of the bar. Very creative, technically almost perfect. They can punish you within the blink of an eye, really. It's just a fraction high, but the weight of that cross is absolutely exquisite. That looked tight and there is halftime and it is a good half for Bremen, who were under the cosh. Will feel is his future employers, then he's doing the right thing about it. Unda has done excellent work here and now it's a break for Stuttgart. And now they have real chances. Zettler makes the save. Girassi screaming for the cutback and now inquiring as to why he didn't get it. That break from Stuttgart showing what they could do, but Bremen's win probability now up from 90 percent a kickoff with that goal to just about 52 percent as they put the ball in. Oh, it's a brilliant finish. Schmidts for Dukša and Bremen have capped an excellent start to the half with a second goal. Breaking the score out of nothing. Opening three and a half minutes, it has been Bremen 2, Stuttgart 0. Marvin Dukša the double. And that's truly a lovely work goal. Nice early cross. That was good work, but immediately the green and white shirts are all around Mittelstadt's ball. No way through. He'll have another go. Good header right in front of the goalkeeper, but over. It's fallen to Fürich, who hits it straight at the goalkeeper. Here they go with Fürich, he's dancing away. It's Girassi and Bremen don't know where it is. And now it's in the back of their net. Forced in by Denis Zundov and with 20 minutes to go. Stuttgart have something to hold on to. Zettler claims the foul. Stuttgart claim a goal. Ito headed away. A look at the watch from the referee. There is full time. It's a huge win for Werder Bremen and Oliverna. They're celebrating like they know they're staying up.
