Today, in the midst of rain and more rain from tropical storm Ophelia, Xiao Qi Ji, Mei Xiang and Tian Tian all enjoyed their beary own beautiful ice cake. Per the Zoo's FaceBook post, these treats were "made with frozen diluted apples and pineapple juices and "iced" with sweet potatoes, mashed carrots and honey." Kudos to the Camera Operator who did a fabulous job of giving us up-close views of each of them enjoying their special treat.

In the upper right hand corner of each section for Mei Xiang and Tian Tian I labeled who it was, and I did so for the first few sections for Xiao Qi Ji, (so if there is no name, it's Qi Ji!) as sometimes they were hard to tell apart. (Especially Mei at the end when she's laying on her back savoring her ice cake ... Qi Ji really looks like his mother!).
