Lyric:
You have dealt well with Your servant, Oh, my Lord.
You have kept Your promise treated me with love.
Teach me good judgment, knowledge, and discernment.
For I have believed Your commandments.

Before I was afflicted I went astray.
But now carefully have I observed Your word.
You are good and kind, and what You do is good.
Teach me Your statutes and I'll obey.

The arrogant have forged a lie against me.
With all my heart I will observe Your precepts.
Their heart is insensitive as fat like grease.
But I delight in Your instructions.

It is good for me that I've been afflicted.
For it made me meek to follow Your commands.
More precious to me is the law of Your mouth,
Than a fortune in gold and silver.
