RAYO VALLECANO 1 - 1 REAL MADRID | RESUMEN LALIGA EA SPORTS | J25 | 2023-2024

At the moment, what solution could be to go back to basics, to the Iraola style, to put in more crushes in, which they have been doing, to be more high tempo, to make less mistakes, to be more effective. A lot of things that Inigo Pérez is going to have to try to sort out. We'll see how they can manage that against Anraio failing to make the most of what looked a very promising position and now they're under threat as Brahim finds Valverde, two in the middle, including who scores to me but let's see and there is confirmation the goal does stand and Joselu now can celebrate and what a counter-attack it was from Real Madrid and everything else he would be the best player at Real Madrid. Here's Lucas Vázquez as they continue to threaten a second goal. Did that go out? It's headed in by Joselu but now the stand will arrive and he has now Espino into the area, cuts it back and Trejo has it in contact with his bar official and now he's been told to go and have a look and we know what that normally means. It is going to be a penalty. Confirmation, penalty awarded, Anraio having to be taking duties and he'll try to equalize and he does, justifying his confidence by thrashing it home. He needed that and in this game certainly it causes some problems before Tramani gets onto it but then played back in and it's RDT trying to turn, lays it back, Trejo straight at Lunin and Real Madrid having to weather some serious pressure here. Towards the far post, Arridane away, Valverde! Oh and I think that struck the post, what a strike from Fede Valverde. The only club in Europe's top five league not to do so and here is Álvaro Garcia with the run trying to score inside the near post and again it's that left-hand side that is causing most of the problems. Real Madrid who get it back with Chelmini under pressure, losing it, Álvaro with the chance but Chelmini making up for his initial error by... And not much in the second half. Here's Brahim trying to change that lovely turn and the pass for Jose Lu who has it saved by Dmitriyevsky sitting on the ball but just as and it will be close going for goal and forcing the save from Dmitriyevsky flying to his left, Real Madrid going for midweeks and this one isn't over yet as Carvajal comes forward and he wants to shoot on target but safe hands from Carvajal though is fouled and now Carvajal, did he retaliate there? He was pulled back without doubt by Kike who should be booked for it but and now he blows the final whistle and it is all over and Raya have got themselves a deserved point on the coaching debut of Ingo Pérez. Yeah he'll be happy with that and I will stay forever on his curriculum. Clearly Real Madrid started the game well.
