Chinese Traditional Story: Fang Guancheng's Amazing Life

Fang Guancheng lived in Tong City during the Qing Dynasty. When he was a teenager, his parents were involved in some crimes and they were exiled to a remote area. Every year, he walked a long distance to see his parents. It would soon be the New Year, and Fang decided to visit his relative in Zhejiang. When he arrived, he saw the guards at the gate of his relative’s home wearing expensive fur coats, and behaving arrogantly. He was immediately aware of how ragged and poor he looked.
