HIGHLIGHTS | Barcelona vs. Olympique Lyonnais (UEFA Women's Champions League Final 2024)

Rupel now the way to send off head coach Jonathan Hiradez as he heads stateside and not around him and this is Gianni and is provided across too back out he comes again and the referee Rebecca Welsh has already blown the whistle Lucy Bruns who is a four-time winner of the UEFA Women's Champions League three times with and she's actually facing Leon for the first time since she left the French Giants here's Horan connecting 50 up for her today in European competition filled it well with Mappi Leon gout injuries he's in the squad today as Graham Hansen makes her way forward and away from radar as well it's a great run it's Paraguaylo here's Graham Hansen and she's whipped that one in and Rolfo arriving what a cross as usual Graham Hansen here's Rolfo it's behind her Marcelo to pick up the pieces Patrick Ihara on she goes can she finish it oh and it's cleared off the line Patrick's there again I think it was initially Horan who gives the ball away I think it's a first touch and Shield didn't go in and engage with Ihara right at that point and she's trying to nick it past the goalkeeper and in the end it's right on the edge and it comes from Basher and Renard is up Graham Hansen didn't want to adjust there oh look it's a tease away from Renard Graham Hansen into Renard inside out I'll tell you what Lucy Bronze has done really well for Graham Hansen this half was created and isolated against Basher nine times out of ten she's come on top and it's just about that finish really good play down the right hand side between those two not shooting or putting the ball at risk for the sake of completing passes and you've got to penetrate better you think from Leon's point of view they need to attack the space more commit bodies forward and be just be better in front of goal raid quicker when you get the ball back against Deanie shrugging off Rolfer and finding Dumoune and Dumoune will fire it across straight into the grass but Catechol certainly positive when Dumoune gets the ball she's a real handful to deal with towards Catechol he gets a big old punch on that yeah better from Colt much better oh it's kept alive here and Wendy Renner goodness me two really experienced players are so well there see a little run just in behind Lucy Bronze and it's nearly absolutely a brilliant move she's always leaning isn't she though Renard Basher to drift it in and it was matched on by Vanessa Xu it's a really good ball in from Basher just couldn't really get enough power from it Gilles nice on the side her new contract last week Rolfer up and it's hung it up as well and Basher can clear it away 10 minutes ago being limping sinking to the bench on she goes oh deflected again cue the chaos Barcelona have a lead through a player time and time again who's been a difference maker the world's best I'll tell you what because I said that she was a little bit look at the Leon bench in terms of attacking options and the Hegerberg is there still Vicky Bechot she can't be 100 percent Hegerberg in a big game like this Carolina Graham Hansen is still full of energy what a run Parauelo Graham Hansen what a challenge absolutely terrific goal Graham Hansen deserves some recognition within this game I should she had to get that right that's another challenge she's coming in quite quickly and she just does enough the close control you can see her arm towards Masuri it's a strong piece of defending from Marina Paredes Bechot hangs it up again back across Paredes is there again Graham Hansen how much is left of the tank still off looks like there's plenty don't get away from tomorrow great defending great defending and Leon come again Hegerberg with her arm up wanting it and it's in towards her now Barcelona are just allowing this to happen you know how complete control over the game before the change is keeping possession but an idol an icon for so many that just put pen to paper on a new deal which was so important for Barcelona along she comes here Claudia Pina tied here by Giraldez and the badger Claudia Pina it's Alexia written in the stars it's Barcelona's time now it's Alexia's time now and history beckons big time for Barcelona you couldn't write it I tell you what when she came on the difference in emotions to then to now she was disappointed she's a professional footballer who is has been one of the best in the world and wants to get up to that level but she hasn't had the minute she had trouble with injury she comes on she's disappointed she only gets a few minutes but she gets that moment and that moment FC Barcelona history makers champions league glory for the third time a quadruple secured for the first ever time back to back champions of Europe Barcelona
