Gardening is more fun with a friend (or ten!)

Weeding is much less lonely work when you have the companionship of a few hens! They love it when I clear the weeds from their enclosure and they’re also a real help as they dig up some of the lingering roots I’ve left behind. Gabriel the rooster was watching from behind the camera, making sure his girls were all playing nicely together - but when it started to rain he ran for cover (and a snack) in his private accommodation next to the chicken barn.
