(Serie A 2023/2024): Highlights FIORENTINA - GENOA

Beltran now, Fiorentina in transition, Bonaventura calling for it, Bonaventura and still that's Beltran and it was not far away. Milan Badet, Aaron Martín, the early ball is towards Ekouban who got his head to it and it's an excellent save from Terraciano. Left by Goodmanson, in it comes from Martín, free header and it really should have been the opening goal. Duncan's ball through, it's broken the way of Beltran, this is Bellotti. Fiorentina with the opening goal and Andrea Bellotti has only his second in Viola colours. The goal doesn't stand, in the end it's offside, the scoreline reverts to nil-nil. Martínez Cuarta, Junior Messias will pounce here, what a mistake. Terraciano is there, Ekouban was he caught, penalty to Genoa. Parisi with the trip, Goodmanson to give Genoa the lead, very coolly slotted, just waited for Terraciano to commit himself and it's Albert Goodmanson who gives Genoa the lead. Bonaventura, that's a lovely ball in and Icone is there to equalise, all about the service, lovely late run into the box, he doesn't get many, Jonathan Icone but this goal is valuable all right, it's the equaliser. Mandragora with the free kick, it brushed the roof of the net on the way through but it was the wrong side of the crossbar. Goodmanson with the corner and what a chance for Vázquez, it's a penalty, Retegui was being fouled. Paolo Mazzolini feels this warrants a second look and Davide Di Marco decides to see the error of his ways, changes his decision and we will restart with a Fiorentina free kick. Fiorentina tried to mount a fight back in the second half but one goal was the best they could produce. Full-time score Fiorentina 1, Genoa 1.
