Are North Korean Missiles Terrifying? #kn23 #kn24 #kwasong11 #northkoreamissile #military
From December 2023 to February of this year, the Russian military reportedly launched at least nine ballistic missiles manufactured in North Korea, targeting Ukraine. The Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office announced it had obtained evidence indicating the use of North Korean-manufactured ballistic missiles by the Russian military during the attack on Kharkiv. These missiles are the enhanced versions of the KN-23 and KN-24.
The KN-23 and KN-24 missiles that Russia had purchased likely belong to the developmental models of the Hwasong-11 series. The Hwasong-11 is North Korea's most advanced solid-fuel short-range ballistic missile, designed to emulate Russia's Iskander-M missile, hence referred to by observers as the North Korean version of the "Iskander." "KN" is the NATO codename, while North Korea names its ballistic missiles after Hwasong and Nodong.
