Popelini opened in 2011 and it took its name after the Popelini, the Italian pastry chef who worked for the Queen Catherine de' Medici and invented the choux pastry.
Creamy, sweet, rich with flavours. Let's bite it.
Is this the best brioche in town? I don't know, but it sure looks amazing.
Every breakfast in Paris should contain croissant and pain au chocolat and the best you can get are in La Maison de Isabelle.
La Maison de Isabelle is the winner of best croissant in Paris in 2018 using handmade methods, organic flour and butter.
As you know me already, I'm always after the best.
I think this is the best croissant I ever had in my life.
This is absolutely delicious.
During my research, a man named Karl Mareletti came up with very good reviews, so I decided to give it a try.
Karl Mareletti made his mark at the Grand Hotel Intercontinental and then opened his own boutique at the end of 2007.
His speciality are vanilla millefeuille.
Unfortunately, they didn't allow me to film inside, so I just grabbed one vanilla millefeuille and I'm going home and I will try it at home.
There's nothing else to say.
Dupain-Adezyde is a must visit in Paris.
This bakery is famous not only for its excellent bread and pastries, but for its exquisite interior from 1889 as well.
You can try many amazing French pastries in here, but I went for their famous pistachio escargot.
Looks amazing and as usual, let's give it a big bite.
Oh yeah, it's so good.
In each bite, you have a little bit of chocolate and pistachio flavor. Outstanding.
Apparently, Paris Brest is a traditional French pastry named after an old bicycle race between Paris and the city of Brest in Brittany.
The pastry was created in 1910 and its circular shape is meant to represent the wheel of a bicycle.
You can get Paris Brest in almost all patisseries around Paris, but I went for my Paris Brest to Jacques Jeannine.
Jacques Jeannine is a French chef and well-known chocolate and caramel maker in Paris.
He supplies chocolates to more than 200 top French hotels and restaurants.
This is definitely the best Paris Brest I ever had.
Eclair is a classic French treat since 19th century.
Made with choux dough, filled with cream and topped with some delicious icing.
One of the best places in Paris to get your eclair is in Leclerc de Jeannine, which translates to genius eclair.
The best seller is the salted butter caramel and that's exactly what I went for.
The hint of caramel flavor is perfect. It's not overwhelming. It looks amazing. Perfect.
You definitely can't leave Paris without trying macarons.
One of the best places to buy macarons in Paris is La Durée.
La Durée is the world's best-known premier seller of macarons.
They have a 157-year history and sell over 15,000 macarons a day.
Crispy, eggshell-like top, same size of shells, inside just a little chewy and soft.
Sweetness shouldn't take over in a macaron. Just perfect.
