Breaking: All 46 people from Chinese institutions were rejected from a study tour to the US
Recently, a study tour group from mainland China applied for visas at the U.S. Embassy. However, all 46 students in the group were rejected during the interview process. According to reports from parents, a well-known organization responsible for study tours allegedly encouraged children to provide false information during the interviews.
A parent said they paid 69,800 yuan to enroll their child in a summer study tour. The child was interviewed at the U.S. Embassy in China.
The study tour was scheduled in two batches, one in July and the other in August. Students were required to arrive in Beijing a day early to receive training at the organization's headquarters. Some parents revealed that during the organization's training, the teachers repeatedly emphasized the need to provide specific answers for the July group. As a result, some students were questioned by consular officers during the interview and separated into two groups.
