(Laliga 2023/2024): Highlights GIRONA - REAL BETIS

Talk it up, it really does have everything in store for a thoroughly entertaining game. We've got two teams who like to play football. Constructive passing, attack-minded and now it's Porto looking for Dogbeck. It's a good cross, it's a good header but it's just wide. The closest we've come to an opening. And there it is, he points since January. Can he put this one away? He can, he calmly rolls it into the corner, sending Luis Silva the wrong way. His drought is over and quite appropriately so in the pouring rain. There's no more drought for Aleix Garcia. It reaches him in the end. Now there's danger here, back for Miguel. He'll have another go, Willy. It's gonna fall for Dogbeck, is it? No, it was well defended by Pezella. But they took the lead. And they're controlling the game. Well, they were but David Lopez has given it away. And there's the equalizer. Brilliant opportunism for Betis after a horrendous mistake by David Lopez. And the equalizing goal out of nowhere has arrived on the stroke of halftime. Ivan Martin moving into space well to find Sigankov. Threaded through, wonderful ball. Porto onto Dogbeck. Can he score again? Yes, he can. And Girona with a brilliant move are back in front. It's the second goal of the game for Artem Dogbeck. A brilliant combination ended by Porto's pass, releasing Dogbeck and a very good finish into the bottom corner. Some Girona fans applauding there as it's worked now down the right. Fornalza's got Willian Jose making the run through the middle. And it reaches him. Willian Jose equalizes again for Betis. And it all started from that wizardry from Isco. Keeping the play alive for Betis, they then switched it out to the right. And as the cross came in, Willian Jose was there. Back for Eric. Cross is cut back. Sigankov going for goal is deflected off Socrates and wide for a corner. Girona so close. In action at Real Madrid and then tomorrow Atletico at Villarreal. They'll be hoping for home wins, Girona will. Here's Dogbeck onto Stuani. And Stuani scores the winner. Surely for Girona he needed two attempts to do so. But he was able to force it over the line. And he is the hero for Girona once again. What a twist in the tail here at Montelivi for the final whistle. And Girona take a massive step towards Champions League qualification thanks to their all-time leading scorer Christian Stuani, the injury time winner. After two earlier goals by Arten Dogbeck, both of them cancelled.
