Waist Drum Falun Dafa is Good 腰鼓隊法輪大法好

2024 World Falun Dafa Day, Queensland celebrates on May 12 at King George Square in Brisbane.

This program is "Falun Dafa is Good" performed by the waist drum team of the Brisbane Lianxin Cultural Society.

These waist drums came from the Western Regions of China 2000 years ago.
In ancient China, people believed that waist drums were divine tools, and the sounds from the drum could be used to communicate with heavenly beings.
Villagers used the waist drum dance to pray for good weather, a successful harvest, and a happy life.
Nowadays they are used as part of traditional customs and celebrations.
The music in this piece is called "Falun Dafa is good," or in Chinese: Falun Dafa Hao.
