A near-miss by Chinese fighter jet as it fired flares at Australian naval helicopter

A recent Chinese military fighter jet fired flares in the international waters of the Yellow Sea (Huang-hai) and narrowly missed hitting an Australian naval helicopter that was carrying out enforcement actions against North Korea. Canberra has sent a formal protest to Beijing in response.
