EXTENDED HIGHLIGHTS | Arsenal vs Bournemouth (3-0) | Premier League

Saka's corner this time and it goes. Travers got his hand to it, not clear very far. Trossard with an air kick but he will win it back on the second occasion. He's got Alex Scott with him. Trossard does well to keep possession. Back to Martin Udegaard. It's a beautiful play. Trossard could be in, cuts inside, blocks. Then Udegaard, good touch, Udegaard blocks again. Good defending by FC Bournemouth but it's going to go for another corner. Martin Udegaard there at the heart of everything. It's a really clever pass that he feeds back in. Look at Trossard's sneaky little run round the corner. It's Tomiyasu, deeper one. Havertz is unmarked. Still Havertz. Nice play, Ben White. Good set-up! Trossard was in there, it was blocked again. White plays it inside to Havertz. Now on to Gabriel. Tomiyasu, good ball in. Makes a space, Havertz forces the save. Then the rebound is blocked from Rice. What a lovely take. It was a lovely ball from Tomiyasu over the top. But he takes it first time, watches it perfectly. It's a good save by Travers. Playing some very good football. Can they get a goal from it? Tomiyasu joining the attack. Oh, this time gives it away. Cook was there. He's overthinking there, Tim. He's just got to carry on. He's got some space in front of him. Get it out your feet and have a shot. Solanke's got away from Gabriel. Saliba has to come across. Great challenge. What a challenge that was by Saliba. That's the reason he's been there all season. Money's on Solanke with any other defender up against him. But Saliba, brilliant cover. Lovely ball infield. White could be in it. It's a Travers save. The rebound is put over by Trossard. Goodness me. You've got to love the way he's playing. You know what? Saliba's already back in position. Back in position alongside Gabriel. But he just finds himself in a bit of space. He carries on his run into the box. Does everything right. Cuts back inside. Saka. Still going. Cuts. Lovely play. Shoots. Another save from Travers. Clips it in. Headed back across. Oh, dear. Thomas Partey. He always had too much time. Got far too much on it. Saka. Partey in a bit of space. Partey makes room for the shot. Good save by Travers again. It's another corner as the ball is scrambled away by Adam Smith. Lovely footwork from Thomas Partey. Just a little drop of his shoulder on the edge of the D. Opens up the space. It's a nice strike. Just close enough to Travers. Saka. He's had a lot of the ball this first half. There's another delivery. Looking for Havertz. Lovely head back. Here's Rice. Oh, it's wide. What a chance for Declan Rice. Havertz does superb to nod it back to Declan Rice. But in fairness to him, he's got three Bournemouth players in front of him throwing themselves at it. He's not got a lot to aim for. But he needs to hit the target. Goes wide of the right-hand post. Here's Hudergaard. Good ball on. Havertz. This could be the moment. Goes down. Is that a penalty? It is. Goes down under the challenge of Travers. He took his time, David Koop. And then he pointed to the spot. Havertz definitely takes it past Travers. Travers goes in. Does catch Havertz's back leg. But it is trailing along the floor when it catches him. Penalty to Arsenal. Bukayo Saka. This is a big moment. Just before halftime. Can the Gunners get the goal they've been seeking in this first half? They've been all over Bournemouth. Saka scores! Arsenal lead 1-0. Such a clever play. He's got a little delay in his run that just allows him to look up. Travers steps one half-step to his left. Saka decides he ain't going to get to his right, and he just slots it home. Adam Smith to win it back. Havertz holding up the challenge. And Saka! Good save by Travers. Havertz works hard then. He just lays Saka in. Takes the first-time shot. I think he had time to take it maybe a yard forward. Cross-ard back to Partey. Into Havertz. Good touch. Havertz shoots. Travers tips it away. So it's Justin Kluivert then. Far away. Struck it quite cleanly but David Ryan never looked panicked. Here's Havertz. He's linked the play well to date. On to White. Saw the run of Saka. Katara with him. Saka tries to turn inside as well. Back to Havertz. On to Woodegard. He might drop to Rice. He might drop to Trossard! At the end, not to take the shot, just to flick it out the side of him where Trossard's in space. But when he's pulled upon at a critical time, Larssen will get that second goal, that little bit of breathing space, to win this game. Chasing two-goal deficit. Christie. Kluivert back to Watara. Tross comes in. Tomiasu. Got there. Slanky having a shirt pulled there by Saliba. Thankfully not. Saliba's hit the bar! And the rebound's gone in! Referees look to allow it. Ersy Bournemouth will protest it. They thought there was a foul in the box initially. Well, I think there might have been a tug on a shirt. The decision's upheld. No goal. Let me move on. Partey. Flicks it on. Saka pulls it in! Oh, it's gone wide from Woodegard. The whole of the stadium erupted, but it's gone the wrong side of the post. Martinelli. Woodegard again. Here's a deeper cross this time. It's lovely! What the heck has gone up? I can't believe it. How can you steal the thunder from him? What a hit! Max Ahrens. Picked up by Arsenal, though. Here's Woodegard. Looking for Jesus. One way, then the other. Did well. Declan Rice. And Rice! Arsenal 3, Bournemouth 0, and it's Declan Rice with the goal! That's a great finish from Declan Rice. Non-stop running. Still there to support the forwards when they get it. It's an assist for Jesus. He worked hard to get the space in there. I thought he took the ball too wide, Tim, initially, but he smashes it back across underneath Mark Travers. Billing plays one in. That's a really poor delivery. Very, very straightforward for Rice. He played 98 minutes, and there goes the final whistle! Another clean sheet, and another huge three points for Arsenal Football Club because Saka's penalty just before half-time, putting the Gunners in front, and then goals from Leandro Trossard and Declan Rice sealing the victory and keeping the pressure on Manchester City. Arsenal 3, AFC Bournemouth 0.
