NBA Players and Legends Who Think LeBron James Is The GOAT

All right, go ahead and talk to him, Clyde. Well, I played against Michael and Michael was phenomenal. I mean, there's nothing I can say. I love the guy. Absolute great character. Wait, is there a butt to this? No, there's no, there's, but, but, but, you know, you got to look at errors. Michael dominated his error. LeBron dominated his error. I'm one of those guys who don't like to compare errors. You just have to do what's in front of you. And look at LeBron's numbers. You look at Michael's numbers. They're very similar. LeBron, I think he made it to the finals with a couple of guys that we can't even remember. Michael Jordan is probably the greatest scorer to ever play in the game, but I may go as far as to say LeBron James may be the greatest player to ever play the game because he's so potent offensively that not only can he score at will, but he keeps everybody involved and you have to be on your P's and Q's on defense because no guy on the basketball court is not a threat to score when LeBron James is out there. He's done a phenomenal job with the things that he is doing on the court now. I mean, I'm a big Michael Jordan guy. I mean, that was my era. But LeBron's making a great argument to be one of the greatest, if not the greatest. LeBron James is the greatest player ever. That's what I say. Greater than Michael Jordan. Yeah, I think so. You cannot tell me in a one-on-one game now that LeBron James wouldn't dominate Mike. In a one-on-one game, LeBron James, 6'9", 260 pounds. If the game was a seven, I think LeBron would win seven to three. Cavaliers have LeBron James. He's the best there is. Yeah. Do you think he's better than Jordan? Oh, yeah. Really? He's 6'8", 285, runs like the wind, jumps out of the gym. And for the moment he walked in the league, his team's won. You think LeBron is not as good as Michael Jordan? Come on. What do you think? LeBron is in a class by himself. What you guys are missing, and Shannon probably knows it better than anybody else, is the game is a team sport. So individuals don't win championships. Teams win championships. And you're only as good as the team can take you. You can only go as far as the team can take you. So three and five doesn't mean anything. I'm more impressed with eight finals than I am with the record in the finals. I'm with you, dawg. If he was 0 for 8 in finals, that would still be an amazing achievement. That's like going to eight Super Bowls. There's really very few players. I'm trying to think if there's anybody besides LeBron that has had that combination of speed and size and athleticism and strength. So I think it's, I mean, look, LeBron is, I think, the greatest player to ever play. So are you saying LeBron is better than Michael Jordan? I would pick LeBron James. You would? If I'm trying to build a team, now that ain't sour grapes. Hold on. Come on over here and talk about it because I won. Okay. You can't be dismissive of what I did. Okay. Let's keep it real now.
