easy summer fruit cake, so good!

So I have two bags of strawberry mango pineapple, half a bag of frozen peaches. I'm just snuggling them right in between there right in the middle of those peaches. One box of angel food cake. I'm just going to sprinkle it right on top. Beautiful. I'm going to use a second box. So I have two boxes total of angel food cake. There we go. Cover the entire layer of fruit with our cake mix. Perfect. And we want really nice fluffy cake there. Seven up. Just putting it right on top of our cake mix there. And because we have two boxes of cake mix, we need two cans of soda. You can use Sprite if you'd like, or you can use diet 7up, whatever you prefer. I'm just using original. That's going to make the cake mix nice and fluffy. Gonna give it a little mix there. There we are. So we're not using any butter. We're not using any oil. This is just a great way to make your cake mix. It's easy. It's quick. It's delicious. It's going to add great flavor to the fruit. That's going to make it so fluffy and delightful. All right. Let's take a look at our layers. We have all the fruit and the cake mix. Oh my gosh. Look at all that fruit on the bottom. That looks amazing. Wow. Okay. So our oven is set at 350 degrees. So this was in the oven about an hour. I did give it a little bit of a stir about halfway through, just to make sure that all of the cake batter was getting mixed up. Topping it with some powdered sugar. You can totally omit this part if you don't want any additional sugar, but I really like a little bit of powdered sugar on mine. Beautiful. Gorgeous. That cake is so pretty. All right. Let's cut into it. We've got all that different kind of fruit underneath. Wow. This is so fluffy. This cake is cooked perfectly. Look at that. Look how fluffy that cake is. That is amazing. Wow. So steamy, so delicious, and so fluffy. A little more of that fruit there. Yummy. Okay. I'll take a bite of this. Wow. I'm very impressed by this. Beautiful, fluffy cake. Mmm. This is really good.
