Okay, Raquel gets to go first.
Oh my gosh! I have a little kid!
We're going to New York for New Year's Eve!
Are you guys ready to go to New York?
We might need to go shopping first. The kid is growing. There is a snowstorm we've got to drive through.
Good morning, Towa Squad! We have been in a Christmas coma for a couple days. We have been
watching movies. No, we haven't. This is a Christmas bobble. It's a bobble. Watching movies. We've been
playing with our toys. Everyone come for powwow because today is the busiest day that we will have.
It's gonna be intense. Okay, you guys. Come on, come on, come on. Are you guys ready to go to New York?
We have only one day because we have to leave super early in morning to drive five hours to the
airport, then to fly six hours to New York City. It's gonna be an intense two days. So, it's the
weekend. Get ready to go. Do you want me to be the soccer mom today? Soccer mom, you're running errands.
Okay. Klai, you're helping and Raquel, you're helping on cleaning. Yes? You're cleaning and you're
cleaning and you're cleaning. We're all cleaning because you see that trash over there? We still
have to clean up a lot from Christmas. Okay, ready? I'm gonna make a list. You guys go grab your stuff.
Go, go, go, go, go, go, go. Wyatt, get up your butt. Come on. Backpack for you and me. Roll on for you and me.
Hey, you think it's good? I think it's good. Let's do this. Yep, we need a sweater. Looks so good. Okay, sweater.
So, people will dress up insanely fancy like dresses. It's awesome. No, I think it's gonna be cool.
Oh, yeah. I need this hoodie. Raincoat. I'm gonna need some socks. I'm not gonna wear a dress. We all know I'm just
not a dress person. So, we gotta find some fancy tops and probably some nice balls.
These socks. Get these socks.
Okay, we got everything brought in. We got a Rykel pile. Okay, Shae, you only have one pair of shoes.
How many pants do you have? Um, I think I have two. Okay, we need a third pair. You don't have a third pair?
His pants lit on fire over Christmas when he lied. Oh, okay.
All right. Liar. Pants on fire. Hanging on the telephone wire. Okay, did you, do you really not
have a second, third pair of shoe pants? Not really. We might need to go shopping. The kid is growing. Okay, pants and shoes.
All right, over here. Wyatt. Okay, so maybe Wyatt needs to go shopping as well. We have one good,
kind of good pair. Okay, he's got clothes that he needs. Okay, Cora, Evie, come here. You girls have
pants? Yes. Sweaters? Yes. Socks? Yes. Um, nice outfit for the Broadway. Yes. Shoes? We have shoes? Yes.
Okay, where's your second pair of shoes, Evie? Upstairs. Yes. So you girls are good? We don't need anything?
Do you need, do you need underwear or socks? No. All right, you're good. Let's get our luggage out and
let's start packing. All right, so I don't think mom quite understood the task when she told me I
had to go and get shoes and all this stuff for these kids because we don't have a ton of stores
here that have everything and everything got so ripped through during Christmas that we're
probably gonna have to go to 10 shops and I do love shopping. Don't give him that tip.
Because he always like gets better with shopping. Stop it. Okay, store number one. Here we go.
Okay, Wyatt, put those back. Shae, we're going to check out. I'm trying to get all these stores
done. Oh, there's a Klai. All right, thoughts? Like them. We got your stuff all packed. This is your
outfit for the plane. Got your masks already. Got your outfit for the plane. Yep, I've got my
dolls and some plane treat. Gotta get the boys packed. They are still shopping, getting snacks.
Rykel is packed. Oh, what will we do with you puppies? You gonna miss us? This will be Klai's
first time in New York City and our first time going to a Broadway. Well, it's their first time,
not mine. All right, boys, store number two. The New Army. No, it's Old Navy. Never mind, let's go.
Are those your pants, Shane? Yeah, they are. Shop number two done. A bunch of copycats behind me.
I'm Shane, I'm an idiot. I'm Shane, I'm an idiot. I'm Wyatt, I'm an idiot. I'm Wyatt, I'm an idiot.
All right, already on to our next store. I've lost count. Going to get some shoes. All right,
Wyatt, how are these ones doing? Great. Dude, if the bigger size fits, I'm excited. Oh,
because it's all about you, huh? Whenever we shop, Klai finds a way to make it all about her,
even though it's not about her. Yeah, they're cute. All right, bro, you like them? Yeah. All
right, so let's go. So I was actually ready to fight crowds today. Everything we've done has
been so fast and easy. Socks for Evie is our next thing, and I think we're ready to pack.
Maybe some snacks? Yeah. Okay, okay. All right, so I got jealous after buying all the stuff for
the kids. I'm going to stop in and maybe get me something. The shop didn't have what I wanted,
so now we're shopping for mom without her being here, which is not the easiest thing we've ever
done. All right, Shae, let's go. I think we just got all of our shopping done.
We will go get some lunch and some snacks and get ready for the flight.
Hey guys, guess what? We conquered that mall in just barely an hour. Look at us go. That was
super quick. Yeah. More bags. Thank you, sir. Out of the truck. On to the next stop.
So we were just informed that our hotel, because of COVID restrictions, now does not do free
breakfast. So what we're going to do is we're going to use their coffee pots, and we are going
to heat up water, and then we're going to do oatmeal in the mornings for breakfast, and then
we get really epic pastrami sandwiches for lunch and all sorts of good stuff. A few moments later.
Maximum damage, minimum amount of time. I think we have snacks and breakfast for every day of
our time in New York. And now to find who gets to bring that on the plane. I don't know if we're
going to fit it all in the luggage. Now, the kids already took their boots, their pants, their other
stuff down to pack in the luggage. We'll figure out the snacks. Maybe I bring a carry-on that's
full of snacks. Yeah. And then I'll fill it with clothes that I buy in New York on the way home.
What? For you. For me. Oh, okay. Boys, time to pack. We got all their stuff lined up. I was very adamant
that we need to look good for a Broadway. We have a New Year's Eve celebration in New York to attend.
Okay, we got your bag here. Add that in. Okay, where's your beanie? It's going to be super cold
in New York City, so we got thermals. We got lots of cold weather things. Wyatt's wearing his NASA
beanie. Oh, yeah. Okay, we got his coat, and this is going to be your airplane outfit, your travel outfit.
We got one bag pack, two bag pack, three bags, four bags, five, almost six. I gotta pack mine.
Seven and eight. It's getting close. Two and three and four. Okay, amongst the chaos of packing, we decided
to take down Christmas. We've already taken our tree down. We're taking all the nativities down.
We've got decorations down. Right now, Wyatt's got to take down. Shae, you catch the next.
Okay, we just put Christmas away. Look at this. Not a Christmas thing in sight.
Our house is super messy. All right, raise your hand if you're packed. No, no. Toothbrush. All right,
Wyatt, Wyatt, Wyatt, you got your headphones? You have your stuff for the car ride. It's going to be
five hours in the car. I'll get a deck of cards. Okay, go get your stuff. We got to drive and fly
this time. It's going to be long travel tomorrow. You got all your stuff? What are you bringing?
Snacks and a special blanket? Because on this trip, we're staying in one hotel the entire time,
we are traveling with more than just backpacks. Get your bags. Let's load up the car.
What's funny is they think this is packing a car. Give me two seconds. I'll show you how much more
space I can make. Oh, Evie's trying it. That's not what I was going to do, but sure, that's good.
All right, we can close this side, and now everyone's backpacks just go there
and there. We're ready to go. You ready to go? Oh, yeah. Let's do this.
Six in the morning, time to wake up. Good morning, Cora. Are you ready to drive, fly? Dad's taking
care of everybody. All right, you guys, come on. Let's go. We got two minutes to get in the car.
There is a snowstorm we've got to drive through. A severe weather warning. Severe winter weather
warning. I need everybody got all your stuff on. We ready? Oh, yeah. We ready to do this? Okay.
We're on the road. Super early, and we're about to drive into severe winter storms for two hours
of our five-hour drive or three hours of our five-hour drive. I think it's going to be four
hours. Gosh, you've got this, honey.
Clay was just saying this is going to be her first time in New York City,
and everyone's first time to a Broadway. Dad's so excited. Once I'm out of this traffic,
I am very excited. That's right. We are behind the plows, and thankfully right now it is not
coming down hard. Like 20 minutes ago, it was coming down hard, and there was snow and ice
on the road, but they're taking care of it, so fingers crossed it'll be a little bit clear.
Clay is digging into her breakfast. Fire Funyuns. Are they hot, Dad? These Funyuns are fire.
We got honey bunnies and pretzels. At least a little bit of the snow cleared up, and that has
made it in a vacancy drive the last 30 minutes. It cleared up a little bit, so we're hoping the
next two hours is not too bad. We made it to the airport. Dad, you are a driving boss.
Time to unload all of our stuff. Parked in the snow. Who is ready?
What? It's so cold. Okay. Oh, look at Evie. So cute. Stylish.
We just got some lunch. We're about to eat. Got sandwiches. Wyatt's playing games. What do we have
over here? Mac and cheese? Flight was delayed, but not as bad as that five-hour one. Everyone
over there is asleep right now. Five-hour delay. That's a two-hour delay, so ours only being 30
minutes not that bad, but it's starting to trip off with expectations needing to be harnessed.
Are you ready? Next stop, New York City. Next stop, freezing coldness.
Very freezing cold. You guys good to go? Yeah. All right. See you on the ground.
We sat up here, and the kids are way back there, so we've been waiting.
Got all your stuff, guys? Yes. Yes. Look at this troop.
The ball's going to drop. Oh, my gosh. Are you guys so excited?
Keep watching, because we're going to be going to the biggest party of the year.
You can't even scream loud enough. I know. I know. I'm so excited. We'll see you guys next time.
