People deluded, I'm back again. Thank you very much for tuning back in each and every
time. I hope us Arsenal fans are still riding the wave, obviously after battering Chelsea
5 goals to nil. Obviously that doesn't stop the news, views, rumours, transfer news and
all of that jazz floating in football. So let's go through the latest tabloids, headlines
and stuff like that and players linked with our club and a couple of other movements in
that regard. Don't forget to smash the like button and subscribe. Let's get straight into
it now. You cannot take rumours for gospel. The dream is free. The hustle is sold separately.
But I've said I would love Yusuf Bufana if he was to leave Monaco to sign for Arsenal
Football Club. I've always liked the player. Obviously he's a French international. We
saw him a couple of months ago at the Emirates Stadium. Rumours in relation to him joining
Arsenal, you know, they go away and then they come back every now and again. We all know
we need to address the central midfield position. I would like two midfielders, an eight and
a six. I'm prepared to concede one. I think we need one as a minimum. I'm going to go
as far as to say if we don't sign a central mid this summer, regardless of what we've
accomplished or not accomplished or aspiring to accomplish this season to remain and last
season.
So if hitting the mic there and seasons beyond, we're not going to get out of the hood. We're
not going to get to the promised land. But with that being said, Arsenal interested in
AS Monaco's Yusuf Bufana. Yusuf Bufana, 25, is ending the season strongly for Monaco and
is one of the figures leading the principality club back towards the Champions League. However,
should Bufana help lead obviously Monaco back to the upper echelons of the European game,
there's no guarantee that he remains at the club. If you get into the Champions League,
he could stay and then depart. And with the Euros to come, are all these players that
play for their countries, are they going to confirm a move before the Euros or are they
going to deal with it after? Or are they going to wait to assess their options? You never
know.
It had been expected that Bufana would leave Monaco last season. However, ultimately an
offer that suited the Ligue 1 club and the player did not arrive. Now did what the bigger
clubs tried to pay for Bufana? Were the offers Monaco deemed acceptable? Did Bufana think
it was the right time to make a step up for whatever reason? Or for all the speculation
and rumours, was there any offers? I guess we'll never know.
Fulham have been linked with him most notably of late. This season, Bufana has found a greater
degree of consistency in his performance. Music to mind and I'm sure Mikel Arteta is
his. Especially in the second half of the season and some of Europe's biggest clubs
are circling.
Fuk Makato understands that Paris Saint-Germain, who have been linked with a move for the France
international, have enquired about Bufana's availability this summer. Outside of France,
Arsenal, Atletico Madrid and AC Milan are also following the midfielder, who seems likely
to leave Monaco at the end of the season.
Now Monaco, in a lifestyle point of view, I wish I had enough money to live there. Make
sure you hit the like and subscribe buttons and we might be able to get there people.
I could understand if he doesn't want to depart France and he wants to join PSG. Obviously
Atletico Madrid is a tribal club. You see what Simeone is doing over there. AC Milan,
you know, I'm 29 and I know AC Milan are not European powerhouses of such, but I always
immediately think of that and they're still a massive club. And with Arsenal's French
ties and what we've done in the game and who we are in England, it makes sense. He's 25
years of age, so he just about might remember Thierry Henry, the Perez's, the Patrick Vieira's,
etc. Saliba, call your boy, is what I would say really and truly. You know, Gwendoly,
you don't need to get involved.
From one midfielder to another, now we've been linked with Martin Zuber-Mendy for the
last two, maybe even three years now. He's a player that I like. I don't think he's perfect.
I do think he's in that trap now. When a player is linked with a club, they start getting
overrated and people move like they can turn water to wine and walk on water and all of
those things. Question marks over his physicality, I would guess to a degree for me, but I think
he'd be a hit in the Premier League. But who knows?
Arsenal are tracking multiple midfield targets amid concerns a deal for Real Sociedad's
Martin Zuber-Mendy could be difficult, assuming he wants to leave. The Gunners want to sign
at least one midfielder this summer and have a longstanding interest in Zuber-Mendy. Bruno
Gomarez and Douglas Luiz have been on the radar, but both Aston Villa and Newcastle
are reluctant to sell and other targets are also under consideration. Zuber-Mendy also
has interest from Barcelona and Bayern Munich, but the 25-year-old has so far been reluctant
to leave his boyhood club. He is keen to play under Xabi Alonso and Xabi Alonso, I mean,
you could go and get him at Leverkusen, but it seems like he's going to stay, who coached
him at Real Sociedad B and helped him break into the first team there. Had Alonso joined
Bayern Munich, Zuber-Mendy was expected to follow him to the Bundesliga giants, but now
Alonso has decided to stay at Leverkusen for at least another season. It is unclear what
Zuber-Mendy will decide. Arsenal could overhaul their midfield this summer, depending on how
many players leave. As we know, El Nene is out of contract and is drawing interest from
clubs in Europe and Saudi Arabia. You'd imagine Jorginho stays, but everything's
up in air. Jorginho's deal is also due to expire in the summer and he may be tempted
to return to Italy despite calls with Arsenal over a new deal. Partey will have one year
left on his contract this summer and is being tracked by clubs in Saudi Arabia. Arsenal
are expected to be busy this summer, with the club keen to continue pushing forward.
Arteta has said we have a few ideas how the squad will evolve. That is what this team,
this club and our people are demanding, to keep moving forward in a ruthless way because
we are not satisfied with where we are. Music to my ears. Continuing this, allegedly, you
know Gamarez, who has been linked with Man City and Arsenal, allegedly he's not fussed
about either club. I don't know where you stand on that debate. Don't forget to let
me know your thoughts while this video is premiering and also leave a comment when the
video is done. Subscribe and smash the like button if you haven't. Allegedly, according
to team talk, Gamarez would certainly be open to leaving Newcastle, even though he won't
actively try to force a move. It is asserted that the prospect of joining Arsenal and working
with Mikel Arteta appeals to the Brazilian, though he almost wouldn't turn his nose
up at a move to City. Hopefully we can beat Manchester City, you know, to his side in
the same way we did with Declan Rice and what we've been doing in the last three games
when we played City. Although if they win the league, they've won the war, really.
The report further claims that this supposed gentlemen's agreement, how far does gentlemen's
agreement go in business? Is it, you know, in writing? Have I's been dotted? Have T's
been crossed? Gamarez has with his club is actually a proper clause in his contract rather
than something the two parties merely verbally agreed upon. Despite Gamarez recently perching
in a new house in North East, the 26-year-old would be ready to make a move this summer.
Arsenal and City, it's claimed, have already made contact with the player to test the waters
regarding a potential transfer, though the Newcastle star is not a priority target for
Arsenal, maybe because of the fee that it would demand. But I think he would, you know,
him signing for Arsenal would get on like a house got on fire. His passion, obviously
he can play as an eight and a six, can play, mate, can defend, shown he's Premier League
proven, should have bought him when he was that young.
The Gunners would not be averse to splashing the cash on him. Football transfers understands
that Arsenal are poised for a summer window of record-breaking spending. So why not shatter
our transfer record again, whether it's Bruno Gamarez, Douglas Luiz Zubermandi, Fufana,
whoever have you people, get it done. We need to address midfield and have those long-term
options.
Joshua Zurski rumours won't go away. As I've said, I think his goal scoring could improve,
but the playmaking and all the other facets of being a modern day striker, I think he's
got the raw elements and they're being polished currently under Thiago Motta at Bologna, who's
been linked with taking over Maximiliano Allegri at Juventus. And likewise, their forward Zurski
has been on the list. At 22 years of age, I do think he has admiration internally at
Arsenal and I do think there's interest in him. How far that goes, who the top striker
target is, I don't know. Who would you lot sign, people? Don't forget to comment.
Arsenal are closing in on their first summer signing, according to this report and according
to reports in Italy, which indicate that Bologna striker Joshua Zurski is looking increasingly
probable to sign for the club. Arteta is known to be on the lookout for a centre-forward
despite Arsenal leading the Premier League charts with 82 goals in 34 games. Jocorez
is one option they're currently studying, although the Sweden international's €100
million plus price tag could put them off, despite the ex-Coventry striker being the
preferred option of Arteta. I always find it, I'm not doubting that, that it could
be a preferred target, but unless Arteta comes out and says it himself or unless this
guy or any article has a direct link to Arteta and it's really credible like that, it's
all whispers essentially. Nonetheless, reports out of Italy are talking up the chances of
us signing Zurski. Apparently, Arsenal have enjoyed a breakthrough in their hopes of landing
him who has been one of European football's revelations over the course of the last campaign.
He has 11 goals and five assists for Thiago Mott aside, as they have charged up the table
into an unexpected Champions League contention. If they get in the Champions League, a bit
like FIFA now, and assuming Motta stays, I'm not saying Zurski can't have his head
turned, but there is something really underrated in stability. And obviously, he moved to Bayern
Munich very young. It's always going to be difficult breaking through there. He's
been on a loan for two, hasn't really worked out. You finally got some stability at Bologna
in the Italian league and at 22 years of age, you've got time to make that move. Who knows
though? The Italian source reports that the Gunners have been granted the opportunity
to speak to Zurski's agent, Kaya Jurupkin, who we've obviously done business with
before. We're ready to pay 60 million euros, so that equates to about 50 odd million pounds.
And he's been offered a five-year deal worth 6 million per year, people. That would put
the transaction in the region of 90 million euros. Again, I do think when people talk
about transfer costs, I'm not an accountant, but people just see the transfer fee. They
don't advocate the whole total cost of wages, signing on fee, yada, yada, yada, which we're
not privy to, nonetheless, people. Would be a good player. Wouldn't be my first choice.
Do think he's got potential to be a real, real quality player. We have once again been
linked with Santiago Jimenez in recent days and weeks. Apparently West Ham are stealing
the march in that regard. They hold an interest in him and they're trying to begin talks.
Spurs, Arsenal and AC Milan have all been credited with an interest in a 23-year-old
Mexican who has 24 goals in 40 appearances in all comps this term. And he's got 39 as
part of the starting lineup. He's contracted until 2027. So final, they're going to want
the bag, people. Speaking of the bag, we're set to earn a total of 100 million from our
Champions League campaign. So the money keeps flowing in. Hopefully that equates somewhere
down the line to sign in new players and better players. We have seen this before, but we
all know Arsenal in the market for a new central midfielder. We all know Thomas Partey's contract
is up in 2025 and I've got an edited piece coming out on Thomas Partey. So turn on your
notifications and make sure you're, you know, you're thinking about that. Arsenal will accept
25 million. Personally, I think we'd be lucky to get 25 million for him, but let me know.
Slightly away from the transfer news, people, Benjamin White, who's had to take a lot of
flack since he signed for Arsenal, not necessarily internally, but some with fans and I'd say
more so the media, he's an easy target because he was signed for 50 million, because when
he joined us, you couldn't see the project because of the Southgate thing. And obviously,
you know, when he says things like, I don't watch football, which he's entitled to do,
you can see why people will do the most. His agent has spoken out, people, and says
no one knows what's going on in his life. You never know what footballers are going
through, people. Gareth said the door was still open, but I think it should be slammed
right in his much, said Harry Redknapp. Forget what Harry Redknapp said. Sorry, let's scroll
the way down. Big up Harry Redknapp, but ain't no one care about that. But his agent, Alexander
Levac, I believe has said, whilst I appreciate that Ben is in the public eye, which brings
its own connotations and leaves you open to criticism, I want to make the point that
every elite performer, whichever field they may be, is a human being who has the same
feelings or have an experience, good and bad. And I've never been, well, I am to a degree
in the public eye, as a Z-list YouTuber, but I couldn't factor being in the professional
footballing aspect. And as his agent said, there's a degree of criticism you've got
to take, and it's easier said than done. And you don't know what people are going through
behind closed doors and things of that ilk. But what I would say is I think Benjamin
White's a strong character, and I think it's not that I can give Ben White advice. If your
close ones, friends and family know who you are, if your teammates and the manager know
who you are, and fans know who you are to a degree, then the majority of honest football
fans, even the ones that criticise you fairly, then it is what it is. The rest is just noise
really. And in many ways, him not watching football could also be a benefit in that regard.
No one knows what's actually going on in one's life. So I really believe people should
think before making a judgment or criticising these elite performers in public. Ben has
shown unbelievable robustness and strength throughout this adverse period off the pitch
and has blocked out all noise and has performed incredibly well on the pitch in a situation
where many others could have and would have wilted. Ben has an incredible temperament
and attitude, which allows him the ability to navigate through his life and personal
life, which, you know, you look for his life, he's dealt with a lot of adversity. I suppose
the main message is to be kind to people as you do not have the full facts, which in
Ben's case, neither Ben nor I wish to vocalise publicly and do not know what's going on in
people's personal lives. So again, please be kind. And that's true. And also I'll give
that to the very people that criticise someone like Benjamin White, you know, when you're
not happy, you know, if I was a pundit and I'm not happy with where I am, I'm not happy
with my life and things. Sometimes that can be projected of when you're in your job and
you're criticising people really and truly. So I have to see. We've been linked with Samu
who plays for Atletico Madrid. He's currently on loan in Spain and has been doing all right
at Deportivo Alvarez. You'd imagine Arsenal are going to be linked with a lot of strikers
of all different profiles and whatnot. Arsenal are understood to be considering a transfer
move for Atletico Madrid forward Samu, I can't pronounce his last name, you're going to have
to forgive me, Liverpool and West Ham United are also drawing interest. Sources with a
close understanding of the player's future have informed Courtside that Arsenal and Liverpool
have been monitoring the 19-year-old's situation for some time, though it may be that West
Ham are showing the strongest interest. I've contacted his agents to discuss their interest
recently. So you'd have to see. But if Atletico were to cash in on him, it would come with
a 60 million euros price tag, people. Apparently he wants more regular football, which if you're
on loan, you don't know Simeone and Atletico Madrid's immediate plans for you. I wouldn't
be against anyone, wouldn't rule out anyone, don't know him religiously, think he's quite
quick, think he makes great runs off centre-back shoulders. But, you know, you kind of want
someone with a bit more proven pedigree if you're an Arsenal fan. We've been linked
with Alise once again. Arsenal and Man United have joined the race to sign the 22-year-old
who is, you know, a Bobby Dazzler really, capable of some special moments. The only
issue you could have over him is fitness and maybe the price tag Crystal Palace would want
because he signed a new deal. But if it was up to me, and I'm sure a lot of you, we'd
get this done tomorrow. Let me know if you disagree, though, folks.
Cesc Fabregas has compared Kai Havertz to him at Barcelona, probably because they both
played as false nines. I've got a lot of time for Cesc and Havertz, but I'm not even
going to read that, my dudes and girls out there.
Bernardo Silva looks set to leave Manchester City for Barcelona, but that doesn't stop
journalists still pandering that Arsenal are eyeing an ambitious move to sign the Manchester
City midfielder. Would love him at the club. I'm sure you'd all love the 29-year-old as
well, but it's fair to say that one there is a myth. And Dia Monday of Sporting is still
linked with Arsenal, Chelsea and Newcastle. I covered this yesterday, but the 20-year-old
who won the Africa Cup of Nations back in January, apparently Newcastle are reportedly
leading the race for him. When you look at Chelsea's defenders that they rocked up with,
you could make a case of him playing on a regular basis there. Newcastle need defenders.
I think he would be a great addition, but is he necessarily going to disrupt the partnership
of Saliba and Gabriel? And I know he can play as a full-back. I don't know, people.
Apparently, we've been tracking the promising centre-back for some, I think they mean some
time, and reportedly had a £30m bid rejected last summer. We've continued to scout him
as well as his sporting team-mate Joker Rez, allegedly, people. So we'll have to monitor
that one day closely. I believe Charles Watts has been speaking and offering his opinions
on just several things that have been going on. He has spoken about Vlahovic, apparently,
people. Yeah, there was some interest because he was a good player who was scoring goals.
Every top club around Europe was probably interested, but I was always told that that
was as far as it went in terms of Arsenal sources. I spoke to who were adamant that
and the sense at the club was that Fiorentina and Vlahovic agents were using Arsenal's name
to try and get Juventus to firm up their interest and put some big money on the table, which,
of course, they eventually did. I've not heard anything to suggest Arsenal are looking at
Vlahovic as a priority target this summer. He's done OK at Juventus, but I'm not sure he's done
enough to convince Arsenal or anyone else that he'd be worth the money it would probably take
to take him out of the two-rim. Obviously, the backdrop of Vlahovic is Juventus allegedly
trying to get him to sign a new deal. We'd all love Izak as well. Thomas Partey, when he plays
like he does against Chelsea, he's amazing. We know his ability, his quality. And once again,
a video coming out about Thomas Partey on my YouTube channel, Soudland People,
just waiting on a thumbnail. It's all the other baggage with Partey.
Partey's future, who we tried to sell last summer, is certainly going to be one of the
big talking points of the summer. Last summer, Arsenal were open to selling Partey, but no
tempting offers came in. They weren't pushing him out the door or anything, but given his age,
poor injury record and the fact he was one of the club's biggest earners and was in the final two
years of his deal, they would have cashed in if a good enough bid arrived. But again, the main
thing, poor injury record and his high wages, him turning 31 in June, I don't know if Arsenal can
expect a respectful transfer fee going back to what we saw with the £25m stuff. In the end,
that didn't happen, so they were happy to keep him around. And I think this summer will be exactly
the same situation. He'll have one year left on his contract and should a good bid come in,
but I don't think they'll actively try to force him out. He's not played that much since returning
to fitness, but he showed against Chelsea on Wednesday how good a player he still is.
Juventus have been closely linked with him, as have Saudi links, so we're going to have to watch
that. Obviously, Bernardo Silva, we can get that one day out of here. Elisa is an interesting name
that's been thrown into the mix. All the top sides will be looking at him. They have to because of
his undoubted quality and the fact he has a release clause. Whether his injury issues put
top clubs off remains to be seen, but it would certainly give Arsenal the X-factor.
My understanding is one of the big things Arsenal are looking to add this summer is someone who can
come in and do something a bit different. I would love some direct pace, in my opinion.
Someone who can maybe open the game up by himself with a piece of individual magic when teams are
sitting in and frustrating Arsenal. Elisa is certainly one who meets that criteria,
so it will be one to keep an eye on. Pedro Neto has been a long-term target of Arsenal. He's a
have to be a concern and might stop the club from firming up their interest.
If it knocks some money off the price tag, why not, people? We'll have to see exactly what's
going to happen in that regard. We've still been linked with Shakhtar Donetsk's Sergei
Sudakov, the central midfielder, who could have joined Napoli in January. I think everyone wants
to stay clear of what the presidents or the decision-makers of Shakhtar say after the
Ukrainian Neymar shouts with Mudrik and seeing what he's got now. Thank you very much,
and thank you to Mudrik for stinking up the gaff at our rivals.
Finally, people, again, the coaching staff are vital to what Arteta is doing. Apparently,
Albert Steffenberg, who you can regularly see when you watch the games on TV, Arteta in close
deliberation with, is being linked with Feyenoord and may be taking over from Mr Slott, who could
and is becoming the new Liverpool manager, people. We all know he worked at Feyenoord before. He's
obviously held positions at Manchester United as well as the Welsh national team and as well
as Arsenal. I'm sure the 54-year-old has ambitions of his own, and similar to Mikel Arteta, who was
a coach for Pep before seeking pastures new, I don't think he could begrudge him if he wanted
to step out in his own right. But much like the transfer news, we're going to have to wait and
see. So let me know your thoughts on Benjamin White's agent's comments on what you think about
Fufana, Zoubamendi, potentially Thomas Partey staying or going. What do you think we need in
January? A man said January in the summer. How do you think it's going to pan out? Would you prefer
a central midfielder or a striker? Let me know all of your thoughts, people. Again, thank you very
much for listening, watching. Don't forget to like, comment, subscribe. Check out the rest of the videos.
God bless you all. Peace.
