Focusing on the battlefield dynamics and analyzing the geopolitical situation.
Welcome to the New Cold War Situation, I am Yutong.
Today is April 23, 2024, the 790th day of the Russian-Ukrainian War.
Two weeks later, the Russian Navy was bombed by Ukrainian missiles again.
On April 21, the Ukrainian military launched another attack on the Russian Navy's Black Sea Fleet
using R-360 anti-ship missiles to hit a Russian tugboat of Crimea's Sevastopol in broad daylight.
Ukrainian Navy spokesman Dmitry Plotnikov said that the Kremlin submarine rescue ship and the Yamal landing ship of the Black Sea Fleet were hit,
and that the latter was one of the few large landers left in the Black Sea Fleet.
Even without sinking it, it hit the Black Sea Fleet's ability to transport again.
The tugboat used for submarine rescue, the Kremlin, also known as the Komsomol,
has the smell of the Soviet Union as soon as you hear its name.
This famous ship can be said to be of great origin.
It was first used in the First World War in 1915.
It was later used in the Russian Revolution and the Second World War in 1917 to serve the Soviet Navy.
It is over 100 years old and is still in service in the Russian Navy.
It is the oldest ship in the Russian Navy,
and the oldest warship in the world to serve and carry out combat missions.
At the same time, it is the only submarine rescue ship of the Black Sea Fleet.
After being hit in this attack, the gunfire was damaged.
The ship is paralyzed and unable to carry out combat missions.
According to sources, the reason why the Ukrainian army attacked this century-old ship
is related to a series of secret activities of the Komsomol submarine rescue ship recently.
The Komsomol submarine rescue ship appeared in the waters near the Black Sea Fleet's former flagship Moscow cruise ship.
It is likely to try to pick up the P-1000 anti-ship missile on the Moscow cruise ship.
This missile has the ability to carry nuclear warheads.
In addition, the Komsomol submarine rescue ship is also active in the waters near the Kaiserkunikov landing ship.
The latter was hit by the Ukrainian army on February 14 this year.
The ship is likely to be loaded with a large number of weapons and ammunition.
At present, the Russian Defense Ministry has not released any comment on this matter.
The local officials of Sevastopol claimed that the Russian air defense system
had hit the Ukrainian missile that was on its way, causing a fire after the wreckage.
However, there is no mention of whether the Komsomol submarine rescue ship
and the Yamal landing ship were hit.
At present, the Black Sea Fleet's main force has basically been driven out of its traditional base Sevastopol by the Ukrainian army.
Many sources show that in addition to the Storm Shadow and Scarp-1 cruise missiles provided by the two countries,
the upgraded Ukrainian R-360 anti-ship missiles
can also threaten the Black Sea Fleet's warships docked in Sevastopol.
Not to mention the Black Sea Fleet warships in the Black Sea West.
A little earlier, Ukrainian Navy spokesman Dmitry Platonchuk revealed that
both the occupied Crimea port and the Krasnoyarsk military port in eastern Russia
have been blocked by the Ukrainian army.
But the Russian military industry is still producing cruise missiles.
The Russian Navy is strengthening its construction of the Krasnoyarsk military port.
Once the Krasnoyarsk issue is resolved,
especially the equipment that can be used to load cruise missiles for warships,
the Black Sea Fleet is likely to use cruise missiles again
to carry out long-range precision strikes on Ukraine.
A satellite photo released by the British Ministry of Defense confirmed Dmitry Platonchuk's words.
The satellite photo shows that after a series of heavy losses,
Krasnoyarsk is replacing Sevastopol as the new headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet.
The Russian army is expanding the Krasnoyarsk military port,
especially allowing the Krasnoyarsk military port to load heavy missiles for warships,
especially cruise missiles.
We don't know when the Krasnoyarsk military port expansion will be completed,
but once the project is over,
the Black Sea Fleet is likely to join the long-range precision strikes on Ukraine again.
The Russian army has used very few cruise missiles in the recent series of air strikes.
It is estimated that it has accumulated a lot.
Although at that time the new Patriot defense system with Western assistance had arrived,
for Ukraine, Krasnoyarsk is more difficult than Sevastopol.
The most important thing is that Krasnoyarsk belongs to Russia,
and the Ukrainian army can't attack with long-range missiles provided by the West,
such as Storm Shadow, Skarp 1 or long-range ATACMS cruise missiles.
Ukraine claims that the long-range missiles have not yet been proven to be effective,
and the suicide drone's attack is not effective.
If we can't think of an effective solution,
Krasnoyarsk will still be a big trouble for Ukraine.
But one thing is for sure,
as the 300-kilometer long-range ATACMS missile is coming,
in a few months, Ukraine will probably make a big deal in Crimea.
Will the next target be the Crimean Bridge?
After all, the Crimean Bridge does not belong to Russia,
and it can be legally attacked with Western weapons.
On April 21,
US Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Mark Hanna said in an interview with CBS,
Everything is ready.
The 300-kilometer long-range ATACMS will be delivered to Ukraine by the end of this week.
In the Xinyuan 5 bill passed by the House of Representatives,
President Biden asked Ukraine to provide 300-kilometer long-range ATACMS missiles,
but also allowed Biden to postpone or cancel the decision
on the premise of affecting U.S. national interests.
The Xinyuan 5 bill is expected to pass in the U.S. Senate soon
and be implemented after President Biden's signature.
In other words,
whether to provide Ukraine with a 300-kilometer long-range ATACMS missile
is in some ways completely dependent on President Biden's will.
At present, the U.S. government has provided Ukraine with a 150-kilometer long-range ATACMS missile.
The actual war shows that this kind of missile, which can be equipped with rapid-fire warheads,
is more effective than the Storm Shadow and Scarp-1 cruise missiles provided by the British law
when it is aimed at attacking Russian airfields and other targets.
On April 17, Ukraine launched the ATACMS missile at the Russian military base in Crimea.
Satellite images confirmed that the S-400 air defense system deployed at the base was destroyed,
a radar and four launchers were blown up.
We have already reported this to you.
Of course, whether it is an ATACMS ballistic missile or an SDB,
both need to be launched from the HMAS or M270 rocket.
The U.S. military's HMAS and M270 rockets have also been active on the battlefield,
and the U.S. may send 300 kilometers of ATACMS ballistic missiles to Ukraine this weekend.
At the same time, it has also affected Ukraine's supporters,
especially Germany.
German Air Traffic Control and Space Agency Chief Executive Michael Schauer-Hohen
publicly questioned German Prime Minister Solzhenitsyn for refusing to provide aid to Ukraine for cruise missiles.
He said,
As long as we are willing, we will always find a technical solution to use ATACMS ballistic missiles in Ukraine,
and Germany does not need to participate.
Earlier, German Prime Minister Solzhenitsyn explained why he did not provide ATACMS ballistic missiles to Ukraine.
He claimed that in order for the Ukrainian Air Force to effectively use this 500-kilometer cruise missile,
Germany must send military personnel directly to Ukraine, just like the UK and France.
The military personnel of the UK and France have been helping Ukraine maintain and operate ATACMS ballistic missiles.
Solzhenitsyn did not want to escalate tensions with Russia because of the German military personnel.
But the question is, if he really did that, would Kremlin dare to turn its back on Ukraine?
At least we haven't seen Kremlin turn its back on London and Paris.
French President Macron publicly claimed that not only should Kremlin draw a red line for the West,
but also for the Kremlin.
This is very reasonable.
As for the Czech missile issue that netizens are concerned about,
I will also report to you about the latest progress.
Czech Prime Minister Peter Fejera revealed in an article in the Financial Times that
500,000 missiles have been prepared for Ukraine so far.
The first 180,000 missiles have been signed a contract,
but it will take a few months before they can be delivered to Ukraine.
As of April 20, 20 countries have joined the Czech missile plan.
The plan is expected to cost $3 billion.
Germany spent 5.76 billion euros to buy 180,000 155mm caliber missiles.
Belgium bought 50,000. Denmark bought 150,000.
Luxembourg bought 6,000.
As for other countries, the Netherlands spent 250 million euros.
Norway spent 140 million euros.
Portugal spent 100 million euros.
Lithuania spent 35 million euros.
Sweden and Finland spent 30 million euros.
Canada spent 27.15 million euros.
Latvia spent 10 million euros.
Slovakia and Iceland each spent 20 million euros.
Slovenia spent 10 million euros.
A total of 20 Ukrainian allies bought the missiles in time.
Europe is not short of money, it is short of weapons and ammunition.
This is also why Europe is ahead of the United States in terms of aid.
But it must rely on the United States in terms of military aid to Ukraine.
The new U.S. military aid plan will be implemented as soon as possible this week.
It is expected that the Pentagon will also announce a new military plan at random.
What kind of weapons are in this big package?
How many missiles are included?
Let's wait and see.
