Its broken leg betrayed it, causing it to move slowly and limp.
Its tail was injured as well, with necrotic skin revealing horrifying bone fragments.
The cat's belly was quite large, indicating that it was pregnant, which only added to the worry for its future and the unborn kittens.
The sight of the wild tabby cat enduring both pain and resilience in its struggle for survival tugged at my heartstrings.
