Good morning, dear friends. This is Lady Sylvia, and a lot of people have asked me about my ring
collection, and I have quite a lot of rings. So I will begin with some of the rings that I wear
all the time, and they are on my hand. And these are the ones I really don't change out a lot.
This one is a white gold diamond and platinum Art Deco ring. It's really, really beautiful.
Then, of course, there's my wedding band, which is relatively new,
but it's yellow diamonds, square cut diamonds, and white diamonds.
And it's on a gold band.
And then I have, of course, this one I never really take off, is my yellow diamond. It's
over two carats, and then surrounded by more white diamonds, a double row of white diamonds.
Anyway, where to start? Boy, I have quite a few rings. This is a Le'Veon piece.
There. It's a Le'Veon piece with 18 carat gold diamonds and sapphires. What I really like about
it, hold on, look. See? Inside it's all hearts, but that's really cool. And this piece is by a
company called Effy, E-F-F-Y, and I really love the antique look of this. There's a beautiful
emerald in the center, and a whole lot of diamonds and 14 carat gold. And, well, this ring here
has a ruby. It's antique. It's 1940s diamonds and a beautiful ruby in the center,
set in 14 carat white gold. And this is a beautiful antique Victorian citrine ring,
those leaves. And then I bought this ring as well. This is also a citrine and diamonds in 18 carat
gold. Actually, hearts. You can see that, but quite a heavy ring, big ring. And here's another
citrine and like a butterscotch amber. Let me try to get it involved. This is an estate piece I bought.
This is a piece I've had for, well, uh, 30 years, more than more. It's a beautiful
yellow gold reproduction of a Victorian ring, all diamonds. And it was bought at a store in New York
City called Fortunoff's. I don't even know if they're still there, but they used to sell a lot
of beautiful diamond jewelry. And I really favored yellow gold over white gold, but I couldn't believe
they made this, so I of course had to have it. And it's one of the pieces I've always loved.
Um, well, here's one of my most favorite rings. This, of course, is a platinum Edwardian
diamond ring with a natural yellow, uh, cushion-cut diamond. And that diamond is over
two carats and probably the most valuable ring I own. It is, every time jewelers see it,
their mouths fall open. And, um, I had to have these two little dots put into it because it
was so heavy on top, it kept kind of flopping over. So the little, um, dots of gold keep it
from flopping over. I mean, some thought it might have been originally a pin,
but I, I really don't know. I bought it from an estate a very long time ago.
Oh, my husband bought it for me when we were married five years.
It's a stunning piece, one of my, well, probably my favorite piece.
Um, and of course, I love my snake jewelry. Two snakes biting their tails.
This is a piece I wear a lot, ruby eyes, 14 carat gold. Um, oh, speaking of snakey snakes,
here is a marvelous piece. Let me try to get it in focus.
This is a designer piece purchased up in Alaska. It is rubies, diamonds,
and in his belly he has a pink tourmaline. And this is 18 carat gold. Let me show you.
When you put it on, the eye of the snake is sort of done with, um, enameling to,
to make it look like, you know, you can see like he's crawling up your finger.
It's so well done. It's absolutely amazing. I really love this ring.
And I have another Victorian garnet ring,
set in gold. This is an antique bohemian garnet ring.
Really beautiful. Look at the sparkle.
And, um, let's see. Oh, I found this ring. This is 14 carat, set with opals.
These are real opals. This is old. This is a vintage piece.
And I found it in an antique shop. I like the way
the underneath has the curly Q's as well. And, um, this was given to me by my husband.
It is a pink sapphire, set with diamonds and hearts on the sides of the ring.
And diamond hearts on both sides.
That's beautiful, right?
And he also bought me this antique Victorian, um, opal triplet, 14 carat gold diamonds,
and an opal triplet in the center, which was commonly done.
This is Victorian. And we bought this in Chicago.
Here's a ring, amethyst and diamond. I thought it was so unusual. 1920s, 1930s.
This is actually my pinky ring. It's very small.
And it was, um, I purchased it from my dear friend, Eileen, who passed away several years ago.
And, um, here is another snake ring with a ruby in the eyes.
And he's also very small, so I wear him on my pinky.
Beautiful. Another beautiful, I love old jewelry, as if you couldn't tell.
Um, another 1930s piece with a large amethyst stone in white gold.
It had little pearls, as you could see,
but some of them broken away. You could see the wire where the pearls were once strung.
This, I think, is the first diamond jewelry my husband bought for me.
Um, sort of like a pre-engagement ring. And it's a sort of waterfall of diamonds.
It's still very dear to me. I love it because of the sentiment. He's such a sweetheart.
And when we got engaged, uh, this was my first engagement ring.
And it's beautiful in white gold. Beautifully set.
It has an internal flaw, but at the time, we didn't have a lot of money, so
I didn't care, and I still don't care. It's quite beautiful. It has beautiful flash.
And, um, let me see. Oh, here's a funny ring. We used to live near Monterey,
and I bought this beautiful fish ring. Diamonds set into his head, see? And citrine eyes.
Really love the way that's done.
And here is a coral antique ring.
Really beautiful. Deep, luscious orange.
This is a Mabé pearl in a beautiful gray tone, set in 14 karat gold.
I really love this ring. You have to be careful with Mabé pearls not to knock them or scratch
them. They are pearls, but like anything else, they're delicate too. You have to be careful not
to hit anything. But I love that color. Love the gray color. Um, oh, here's another antique ring.
Love that 1920s, 1930s settings. This is also in gold with, um, yellow gold and white gold.
And this stone, a lot of people thought it was a tanzanite. That would be like a three-karat
tanzanite, um, but I think it's glass. Doesn't matter. It's really beautiful to me,
and I wear it on my pinky. It's a very small size.
And here is a beautiful antique ring. Rose-cut diamonds and a big sapphire.
With a sterling, um, the top piece has, like I say, like two coats. This top part is sterling,
bottom part is 14-karat gold, and then this centerpiece is 14-karat.
It's a very beautiful ring.
And, of course, my cameos. This is a cameo ring I really love. It's English 9-karat gold.
And then this one is angelskin coral.
Beautiful color.
And this one is, um, I forget what, it might be 10-karat, but, um, it's a lovely, lovely ring.
Oh, that one's coral. I mean, I'm sorry. This one is the angelskin coral.
The other one was regular coral, and this is angelskin. It's very pale.
Great key pattern all around. I really love that one.
Oh, and this one is another, um, a citrine. And this is an old ring.
I picked these up at antique shops and estate sales.
And, uh, oh, here's another cameo of an angel, which I really love.
The detail is beautiful.
This ring, I'm not sure if this is chromium dioxide. It's not emerald, for sure.
This one is beautiful. 14-karat gold. A real luscious grass green.
Let's see, um, oh, this is 14-karat in jade with a tiny diamond. It is a little frog.
And I think it's a three-toed frog, because in certain cultures, a three-toed frog is good luck.
Let me see, let me see.
Oh, this is a museum reproduction of a, um,
a ring from, like, the Elizabethan era. And it's, uh, made by a museum company,
but it is a genuine eye light surrounded by seed pearls.
And 14-karat gold.
I love that one, too. Here's another 1930s ring. It's onyx
with a tiny diamond. I love the, um, the way they made the settings.
And then, let me see. Oh, here's a ring I found in Galveston. Um, it's gold.
Looks like a button, doesn't it? But it's not. It's just this big ring with, uh,
the, um, enameling, the black enameling. And yes, that is a real diamond. That's a nice size one,
too. I found that in Galveston. Really cheap. I think they thought it was fake,
but I tested it. It's real. Yay! This is a beautiful little sapphire and diamond 14-karat.
Oh, and I found this. That's just, yeah, it's like 10-karat, but it's cute. It's got my initial
on it. I actually wear all these rings. Um, in fact, I wear everything. I wear them and switch
them around all the time. Oh, uh, let me see. This is, was my platinum, original platinum,
uh, wedding band. It is a designer piece. And of course, being platinum is quite heavy. But you
see, the little diamonds started to fall out of the flowers, so I have to get this repaired.
And that's why my husband bought me the yellow diamond band. But I still love this band. I got
it repaired. Um, let me see. Sometimes I go over my rings and I'm like, oh my god, I have quite a
few rings. Oh, this is just a costume piece, but I thought it was very beautiful. It's a German,
enamel with a beautiful faux citrine. It's marked made in western Germany.
I like it. It's beautiful. It wasn't very expensive, of course.
But not everything has to be over-the-top expensive. This is another
onyx and diamond 10 karat with yellow gold, uh, rose gold and green gold.
And here is a beautiful teardrop, um, Swiss blue topaz.
That's a good size teardrop set in yellow gold.
And let me see. Oh, and here's another one. This is a large marquee shaped amethyst.
And, oh, I love this ring. This is just, um, enamel on sterling.
But I had a Sphinx cat. Her name was Chihuahua, and she looked exactly like this.
And so that's why I bought this ring. Of course, I cried all the way home.
She died about five years ago. I love the little feet. I found that in Santa Fe.
That's a designer piece. And, oh, this is really beautiful.
This is, has the look of a stacked ring, but it's actually all one piece,
and all with, um, semi-precious stones, amethyst, citrine,
peridot set in sterling.
Here's another beautiful ring, also made to look like an antique, but this is not antique.
Another snaky snake in sterling.
And little gemstone eyes.
Oh, and here's a, here's a dragon with a moonstone in his mouth.
I haven't had this one in years. Sterling.
Chinese dragon.
Okay, well, I think that's all I'm gonna show for now.
And I hope you have a wonderful day. The rings on this, all these here, are my, uh, imitation rings
I bring on cruises, so that if somebody were to steal my rings, they're gonna get a big surprise.
They're all fakes. They're beautiful, but they're fake. And, like, look at the size of this cocktail
ring. It's, um, you know, CZs, or that stuff called Dimonique. It's all fake. But, you know,
that's what you have to do sometimes. You have to wear stuff that isn't real in case you ever get
jacked up, you know. I've, I know people have, in Italy, they got attacked and their jewelry was
stolen. So, when I travel abroad, I don't wear real jewelry. Anyway, my friends, God bless you
all. Thank you for listening, liking, sharing, and subscribing. I really appreciate each and
every one of you. Thank you so much. God bless you. Bye-bye.
