I experienced chest pain and shortness of breath.
A few days prior, I had gone to an urgent care center complaining of chest discomfort. I was initially diagnosed with community-acquired pneumonia and was prescribed a 5 day course of medication to treat it. I was told that by day 2 or 3 I should start to feel much better. By day 3, my symptoms became so distressing that I decided to go to the emergency room.
