Hello everyone, welcome to the New Cold War Story, I am Lin Yuanshan.
Today is April 11, 2024, the 778th day of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
Ukraine's defense failed.
As of April 10, Russia has lost more than 450,000 troops in Ukraine.
Zelensky warned during an interview with the American media that
if the United States does not pass a proposal to Ukraine to provide aid,
Ukraine will lose the war and other countries will be attacked.
It is undeniable that Russia is taking advantage of the difficulties faced by Ukraine in aid,
actively seizing more territories, and even trying to take back Kharkov, which was lost in 2022.
On April 9, British diplomat Cameron went to the Hague in Florida during his first visit to the United States,
trying to persuade Trump to allow the US Congress to provide $60 billion in military aid to Ukraine,
but failed.
The U.S. has fallen into a two-party politics in the U.S.-Ukraine issue,
and there is little possibility of change in the short term.
Washington Post, Trump's leftist media, reported on the 7th that
Trump has repeatedly publicly stated that if he wins the election again,
he will be able to promote a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine within 24 hours of the election.
There is no need to wait for an oath.
However, Trump has repeatedly refused to explain how to make the Russian-Ukrainian war fall into place.
Now, a source has revealed that Trump's plan is to ask Ukraine to give Crimea, Donbass, and other border areas to Russia.
A source from the Washington Post said,
Trump once said that both Russia and Ukraine want to keep their dignity,
and both sides hope to find a solution.
Trump also said that people in some parts of Ukraine can actually accept the return of Russia's rule.
But the problem is, if part of Ukraine's territory is given to Russia,
Putin's regime will expand its territorial warfare to the largest scale in Europe since World War II.
What good will this do to world peace?
Now it seems that the close alliance between China and Russia is no longer a matter of dispute.
Is it possible to sacrifice Ukraine to reward Putin?
Is it really possible to break up the alliance between China and Russia as some people hope,
win Putin's return to the West,
leave China and Russia, and then unite Russia to destroy the Communist Party and attack the CCP?
Is this a wishful thinking?
But now these traditional mainstream media are also lying.
They make up lies for the interests of the party.
They have long lost their credibility.
Whether the news is true is still to be confirmed by the parties involved.
The aid delay has caused the Russian military to face great difficulties.
But Ukrainians still show courage and determination.
Let's look at the latest news on the battlefield.
In the Avdivka region, the battle between Beleditsch and Semenivka is still raging.
The Russian army, after a year and a half of attack,
defeated the Russian army's 59th brigade,
occupying the Pervomaisk settlement,
and continued to advance.
Malinka, Semenivka region.
The Russian army launched an attack on Semenivka's northern Krasnohorivka,
occupying several residential areas,
making minor progress.
Semenivka is occupied by the Russian army,
about 75% of the area.
The Russian army's 79th brigade continues to prevent the Russian army from advancing.
Bakhmut region.
The Russian army continues to advance from Bogdanika and Ivanivsk.
This is a typical double-push tactic,
attacking from both sides,
avoiding the strong front line,
and thus encircling the Udom strategic point,
Chasov Yar.
However, according to a Russian telegraph channel,
the Russian army's attack is not just a double-push tactic,
but a triple-hit tactic,
advancing towards Chasov Yar,
and simultaneously launching a frontal attack
from the east and north-south sides.
The Russian military analyst,
Julian Rybka,
studied the Russian armed forces
and wrote on the map
that Russia had used this type of
double-push tactic
against Afghanistan,
Yevka, and Bakhmut
earlier.
If this continues,
the Udom defense line will collapse sooner or later.
As shown in the video,
Russian fighters
bully Ukraine without fighters,
and lack air defense systems.
In this way,
Chasov Yar's upper airspace
is surrounded by
FAB and KAB air bombs.
Let me explain
why it is FAB
and KAB at the same time.
After the Soviet Union's disintegration,
Russia inherited most of its military assets.
In terms of air bombs,
it mainly developed KAB-series guided missiles,
including semi-active guided missiles
and TV-guided missiles of different types.
Among them, the heaviest and largest
is KAB-1500LGKR.
The FAB series
mainly refers to unguided missiles.
Among them,
the largest is FAB-3000M54,
which is a giant
unguided conventional air bomb.
However, it has been discontinued,
and now the Russian military has decided
to re-produce and equip
FAB-3000M54,
and transform it into a guided missile.
Obviously, it is to meet
the urgent needs of Ukraine
on the battlefield.
In this case,
the Ukrainian soldiers
still firmly resist the Russian attack.
Now the firepower of the two sides
has reached 6 or 7 to 1,
and the individual battlefields
have reached 10 to 1.
In general,
the U.S. aid is not in place,
the European aid is slow,
and the Russian military is also recovering further.
The Russian military took the opportunity
to launch two helicopters
in Crimea on April 10.
Ukrainian Navy spokesman
Dmitry Kulaytonchuk reported that
a Russian K-27 helicopter
was shot down in Crimea.
The K-27 is a multi-purpose
Russian naval helicopter
designed to carry out
naval anti-submarine defense missions.
It is reported that
this K-27 helicopter
was shot down by the Russian army
when it was chasing
the K-27 in Crimea.
On the same day,
the Russian Defense Ministry
reported that
a Mi-24 attack helicopter
was shot down
near the west coast of Crimea.
The initial news said
that the accident was caused
by a technical failure,
but the Russian channel
said that all the pilots
and crew were killed
by a military fire.
Since the beginning
of the war,
Russia has lost
325 helicopters,
and this number
may continue to increase.
This is really good news
for the Russian army.
Greece plans to provide
32 F-16CD fighters to Ukraine.
The reason is that
Greece is processing
108 veteran fighters
from 4.5 to 5 generations
including 32 F-16CD.
If France allows it,
this batch of fighters
is likely to be handed over
to Ukraine.
Ukraine has already
locked 65 F-16s
from Mongolia.
Sweden is also considering
providing British fighters.
With these 32,
Ukraine's air power
will be substantially improved.
For Russia,
after the visit of
Greek Prime Minister
Mitsotakis in Odessa,
Russia's missile attack
significantly accelerated
Ukraine's advance.
Ukraine's F-16s
are expected to enter
Ukraine in June.
North Korean Secretary-General
Stoltenberg said
that Ukraine's F-16s
will not have a major impact
on the situation,
so it is unlikely
that Ukraine will
defeat Russia
with these F-16s.
Both sides have
strict air defense networks
so it is unlikely
that both sides
will engage in close combat.
However, the F-16s
have one major advantage
which is that they can
prevent the Russian Air Force
from using Su-34s
which can travel
40-60 km
outside Ukraine's
air defense system.
This is one of the main reasons
for Ukraine's defeat
against Afghanistan.
The F-16s'
AIM-120 missiles
can force the Russian Air Force
not to get too close to the frontline
and can also intercept
the Russian-launched cruise missiles
or use the same method
to destroy the Russian-launched
cruise missiles.
According to reports,
the U.S. will hand over
more than 100 AIM-120
advanced medium-range air-to-air missiles
to Ukraine.
These AIM-120
air-to-air missiles
can reach
160-180 km
without entering
the enemy's air defense zone
and can hit the Russian fighters.
The U.S. and Russia
will hold a meeting
to discuss
how they can
help Ukraine
with the 285
Meikawa tanks
that the U.S.
has been stockpiling.
This is the first time
that a U.S. tank
has been exported to Ukraine.
In the past,
the Russian President
said that Meikawa
was the most
defensive tank in the world.
The Meikawa tank
is even stronger
than the M1A2,
the Abrams,
the German A2A6
and the British Challenger 2.
Meikawa means
tank in Hebrew.
Since the 1980s,
Meikawa has been
the main tank
and replaced
most of the Meikawa 3-star tanks.
The front armor of the Meikawa tank
is very strong.
The turret is flat and oblique
and the weight of the turret
greatly increases the level of protection.
In order to protect the members
from damage,
the Meikawa tank
purposely puts the engine forward
so that the missiles can only
hit the engine compartment
and further reduce the threat
The tank has been designed
in many special ways
so that the Meikawa tank
is often called
the most defensive tank
in the world.
Finally,
on April 7th,
a Chinese employee
posted a video saying
that the Chinese government
didn't treat us as human beings
and asked us to go to the battlefield
and didn't send any reinforcements.
Don't come here!
Well, that's all for today.
