Something I noticed when I visited the shops the other day was that there were
a lot of white jeans in store. They're all different styles,
straight legs, wide legs, cropped, skinnies, I mean there was loads to choose from.
White jeans can be worn throughout the year but springtime just seems the
season that they suit the best. So today I'm going to show you some
white jeans outfit for the springtime. I saw this outfit in store, it's quite a
classic colour combination with white jeans, a blue and white striped
These colours always look lovely together no matter what style of white
jeans they are or what style or length of trench coat it is.
Short trench coats are really in style at the moment and so are denim shirts so
a slight variation on this outfit would be to wear white jeans,
a short cropped beige trench coat and a denim shirt.
Now my jeans and the denim shirt are both from Marks and Spencers
and the cropped trench coat is from H&M. It is just a slight variation on the
colour scheme with a deeper richer blue but they all complement each other so
nicely. I showed you this trench coat in my last
video and as well as with the denim shirt colour combination
it looks lovely with red and white. These three colours just look gorgeous
together. Mine is a little red vest top but the
red top could be anything, a t-shirt, a red blouse, a thin knit jumper
and the outerwear could be a jacket, a coat,
cardigan, a long trench coat. It really doesn't matter, the combination will just
work so it's a very easy outfit to put together with whatever you have.
And I think that's the beauty of white jeans, they can go with practically any
colour. Now I love yellow, it's not a colour I
get to wear that often and it doesn't seem to be a colour that's particularly
on trend very often either which is quite sad because for me it
epitomises springtime and it looks so beautiful with white so
pairing it with white jeans is just a match made in heaven.
If you add in some tan accessories like a tan belt and some shoes
and perhaps a textured bag, together they combine to make a very easy white jeans
outfit. Layered outfits always look nice so you
could layer the same colour sweater over your shoulders
or you could perhaps add a white one that will match your jeans.
Now if you don't like bright colours, earthy colours like khaki,
green and brown also look very nice with white jeans.
I particularly like either a khaki green or a lighter sort of sage green with
white jeans. Both these colours look great together
for a casual look. I've put white jeans together with a green top
and green jacket both from Marks and Spencer's and then I've added a brown
belt and brown bag. I call these moon bags
just because of the shape but that's not the technical term but they
do look great with a casual outfit. I've also tried it with a straw bag for
another outfit option and either work they just both give a
different feel to the outfit. Another way I've changed this outfit is by
keeping the olive green sweater but I've switched the jacket with a
cropped trench coat and I've put it together with the slingback
tan shoes from H&M. These colours look so gorgeous together
and I think it's a slightly more gentle way to transition from winter to the
spring. The colours are just a little bit easier.
I've added the moon bag again and I've also added the straw bag.
Now this is a similar coloured outfit but this time with a different style coat.
This one's with a green trench coat and the brown belt and the tan shoes is the
same as before. Now the lovely thing about this colour
green it can go very nicely with other colours.
I've tried adding a tan bag. It's a similar colour to the shoes but it's a
slightly different colour to the belt but it doesn't notice too much and it
works very nicely with the green. It also looks lovely with red so I've
tried the same outfit but with a red bag. Now I don't usually like sort of deeper
rich greens like emerald green with a bright red because to me it just looks
too Christmassy but more muted greens with a more muted
red I think looks really great together.
That's another option and I've also tried the same outfit with the moon bag
and with the straw bag so there's so many different ways that this outfit
in this colour combination could be mixed around.
I've mentioned my digital downloads to you before. I do actually have one for
white jeans. Lots of you have already bought this so
I do hope you're finding them really helpful but some of the outfits I'm
showing you in this video are in the download.
The thing about the download it's designed so that you can save it to your
phone or your pc whichever is easiest and then
you can put together outfits really quickly and easily. They're based
around individual pieces so if you want to wear your white jeans
you can just quickly scroll through the download,
find an outfit option and put an outfit together. I'll link it below for you.
Now a colour that you don't always see that often in springtime is brown
and as a fact you don't see it paired with white that often either
but together they can look lovely. I've put this simple brown off the shoulder
top together with some white jeans again with the tan shoes and with a
brown belt for a very simple spring outfit with white jeans. This little
top is from Marks and Spencer's. It was £22.50 I think. I'm going to
wear it with white jeans but another way I'm going to be trying this top
is with some navy blue trousers. Brown and navy look gorgeous together so I'll
show you that in another video. Although this outfit here which I
saw in store when I was there with white jeans, a denim jacket and a
striped top isn't actually my style. In theory it could be put together in a
similar way more in your own style because
when you break it down it's just white jeans, striped top and a denim jacket
just in a modern way. So I did it by putting my white jeans
together with a striped t-shirt top which is from LilySilk
and then I've layered that with my denim shirt that I showed you at the beginning
of the video but then I've layered it one step
further with the green trench coat. I've tucked the shirt in
because the proportions didn't look right when the shirt was left open.
It just didn't look right between the bottom of the coat and the shirt. It just
looked a little bit off. But I did try it with the green casual
jacket and this time I left the shirt loose.
It's a better length with the jacket. Because the jacket's shorter it just
works better. And the bag I added on top of that was
the brown moon bag. I know stripes with white jeans isn't
groundbreaking and not that exciting but if you do want an
easy outfit they're always great to rely on. Now as
well as layering them underneath the denim shirt
I've put them on their own with the green trench coat and the brown bag and
I've also tried it with the green car key relax jacket.
This jacket is a perfect casual jacket that could be worn
really casually perhaps with leggings and welly boots if you plan to go for a
country walk or it could still be worn casually but
just slightly smarter. It's got nice high collars
and something else I like about it it's got a drawstring inside the jacket which
obviously you can tie up but you can also pull them in a little
bit so it gives you some nice definition to the waist.
I also like stripes worn with the navy jacket of some kind.
The jacket could be any style something like a blazer
or a cropped jacket or even perhaps a navy blue trench coat.
Navy blue is another one of those colours that just looks so nice with
white jeans. Now as well as with stripes underneath you could just wear white
underneath and wear that with tan accessories like a belt bag and shoes.
Another way you could do that is wear a tan top underneath
for another outfit option or you could brighten it up and add some colour
and wear red white and blue. If you've got a navy jacket of some kind in your
wardrobe there's many ways that you can make it
work with white jeans. A new favourite combination of mine
is jeans worn with a waistcoat and perhaps a blazer over the top.
This grey one I'm wearing is from Marks and Spencer's
and so is this blue one. Now this is in that fabric that
looks like denim but it isn't denim. These are a matching set
and I have to say they're both really comfortable. I like them worn with the
brown crossbody bag and with trainers for a really casual
look but I've also tried it worn with tan flats
and for a smarter look with these two-tone slingbacks. There's also some
matching trousers so potentially you could actually wear it as a three-piece
suit. I actually saw a lady on the telly the
other day wearing the blazer and the trousers
and she paired that with a white t-shirt and white trainers
and I thought it looked really terrific so I'll link all of those below for you.
Denim other than jeans like denim dresses,
jackets and waistcoats are really on trend this season
and I noticed a load of denim things in store.
I quite like denim shirts, I think they can be really quite versatile
and they can easily be paired with white jeans. Nice and simply they can be worn
open for what I call an easy breezy outfit. I like
the denim shirt over the top but really you could do that with any coloured
shirt over the top. As well as with the denim shirt I've
tried this look with a cutout shirt worn open with a white vest
underneath and again tan accessories. I love all white worn together with tan.
It's just so simple but looks gorgeous together
and it can be put together with whatever you have like a white sweater
or layered perhaps with a beige trench coat or a jacket
or even a camel blazer. I mean there's many ways to do it.
That's the thing about white jeans, it can be very easy to style them.
If you wanted to keep it really really simple just wear them with a white top
like a vest top or a t-shirt or even a white shirt underneath
and then you could layer them with a different colour. It could be
any kind of jacket, a crop jacket, a trench coat, a blazer
or it could be a stripe jacket. They always look terrific with white jeans
or just keep it very very simple just by adding a coloured knit over your
shoulders. White jeans can be very versatile.
You can make some terrific outfits with them. Lots of the outfits I've put
together in this video are in the download.
I've actually got a few now so I'll link them all below for you.
