(Premier League 2023/2024): Highlights Luton - Aston Villa

Very entertaining opening 13 and a half minutes here at Kenilworth Road. McGinn. John McGinn striding forward into Jacob Ramsey. What a save Kaminsky. Excellent diving save as Jacob Ramsey looks to whip it in the far corner. Good header by Watkins and he nods Villa into a 1-0 lead. Rodgers under pressure from Burke. Mengi snaps in ahead of Tielemans, but somehow Aston Villa come away with it. Morgan Rodgers on a amazing run in the middle. Pulled back by Rees-Burke and Rees-Burke under booking. Taken quickly towards Ollie Watkins who is in for a second, but the flag is up for offside. Bad news will filter through in a second. Ollie Watkins has two, Aston Villa have two. Quick thinking from Douglas Luiz. Doughty's delivery high towards Mengi. Bounce around and he's headed in by Rees-Burke. Is it? No, still going. Chong. Bedlam in the penalty area. Bedlam in the stands as well. Luton need to make games chaotic. They need to make this place raucous. They need to buy into the fight. They've done that in this second half. Doughty with the delivery. It's a great boy Morris. Captain's goal from the man with the armband. Luton's number nine. What a delivery from Alfie Doughty. Matched brilliantly by Coulter-Morris who's not only captain, not only leading the Luton Town attack, but also orchestrating the noise inside Kenilworth Road. Back to Moussa Diaby. Stands up towards the far post. Diña. An absolute sicknut for Luton Town.
