This is my dojo.
Where the conditions are always changing.
Where control is not mine.

All I can do is decide to enter
or choose to cower
Every day, Kali is a choice to make.

People say I'm strange.
They say I'm odd for what I do
But, While they watch, talk and admire - I'm here, training.

There is no motivation.
Only focus and obsession that drives me.
My body and mind are pushed with death the only limit.

I see so much fear.
So many people are afraid.
It's not the forest they're afraid of.
Nor is it the training itself.
It's themselves they fear.

Imagine dedicating so much time
Only to learn your best potential wasn't good enough.
Everything in your life becomes questionable.

It is much easier to watch others thrive and suffer.
Ignorance is a simple path
To not risk your darkest fears to be true.

For me, none of this journey is for happiness.
Joy is a place for other things.
To master oneself is a dark place, a lonely place.

Darkness, loneliness, and self-worthlessness.
These are the things humans fear the most.
Yet, this is the threshold that must be crossed.

It takes courage to walk into the unknown
Where conditions are always changing.
Where control is not yours.

All I can do is decide to enter
Or choose to cower.

This is my dojo.
And I choose Kali for my path to self-mastery
Until life becomes death.
