astronomers have detected for the first time a phenomenon known as a "burping" black hole and unexpectedly discovered a second, smaller black hole orbiting around it. This black hole, located at the center of a galaxy 800 million light-years away from Earth, has a mass of up to 50 million suns. Every 8.5 days, it ejects a large amount of gas into space, an event originating from the accretion disk surrounding the black hole. Scientists believe that these gas ejections may be related to a smaller black hole that orbits on an inclined path, disturbing the gas and triggering the ejections. This discovery not only enriches our understanding of black holes but also suggests the possible existence of an entirely new class of extreme binary black holes.
