(Ligue 1 2023/2024): Highlights BRESTOIS - HAVRE AC

Brest 2nd hosts Havre 14th The Brest players are on 2 wins after 3 draws They have once again taken the second place and still hold it with Péré-Rallage Del Castillo and Satriano starting this match Mounier is suspended Le Havre remains on three defeats at least for now For the Normans they start the match with Samy Bayot and André Ayoub Kouzeyev remains suspended It is expected that the Brest players will take the lead in the match but that is not entirely the case The Ciel et Marine are well organized and even try to be dangerous with this center Bizotte's intervention at the fingertips The ball is lingering on the surface André Ayoub's acrobatic clearance The highly experienced Ghanaian international misses the target but Havre show they have intentions and are capable of scoring in this match The Breton response is expected Here it is on this move with this shot wide A small chance for Stade Brestois thanks to Romain Del Castillo But it's still too timid and the Havre are even in the first half Another chance with this long shot it goes wide Very nice opportunity for Christophe Européry Brest got a little scared but still occasionally attacks and has some good balls in the opponent's half Notably the movement in the surface the center receding Intelligent play by Pereyral to find Pierre Lismelou 1-0 in the 34th minute And again Pierre Lismelou for his fourth goal of the season his third in four matches He is in great form in front of the goal Well positioned he scores the first goal of the match 1-0 a few minutes before halftime Brest maintains its lead at halftime It's still going well for Brest despite a strong performance by Havre In the second period Haxolik continued and there was a chance to tie the game against Eric Roy's team But Brest is confident and it shows Another good move Kenny Lalla to launch the ball to the right side towards Magneti Magneti are on the retreat for a comeback Madi Kamara fails to score after his fantastic hat-trick on the Strasbourg pitch No extra goal for him He fails directly to Arthur Desmas There was still a lot of time left at that point New ball for the visitors The Perey center is not finding a true taker At the second post a center back And he shoots directly at Marco Bizotte It's not sharp enough to see a goal from the Normans Maybe on a set piece with this deviation and the possibility to strike very hard It's just next door A lot of power but always a lack of precision Too bad for Samy and for Le Havre Brest doesn't score a goal and even manages to get a 2-0 chance To be safe at the end of the match with this ball in the box The cross back to the penalty spot for a missed shot Jonas Martin had a real 2-0 ball served by Satriano It passes over The stopwatch is now in favor of the Breton team With this additional chance This breakthrough was not effective Bradley Loco climbed directly onto Desmas No additional goal in this match But Brest strengthens its second place as the Bretons win 1-0 and take points off Paris Saint-Germain Monaco and Nice They all ended in a draw or a loss Brest once again pulled off a great move on this day
