(Laliga 2023/2024): Highlights MALLORCA - GIRONA
Now, as we say, qualified for the final
when they will play Athletic Club on the 6th of April.
So Mallorca, now focused back on La Liga, need three points
to further their distance from the Ibsers,
showing their respects and appreciation
to the Mallorca centre-half.
Miguel plays a lovely cross in the header on targets,
but straight to the hands of Predrag Rajkovic.
A clear warning shot goes for Chirona,
but Vera Morici is now in behind.
He loves them all over Gazzaniga.
And it goes just wide of the net.
It will go out for a corner.
A few asking for a foul from Gazzaniga
on Morici.
Corner is played short.
Now back into the box by Dani Rodríguez.
It's very tight off the crossbar.
And now Kopete plays it across.
It goes out for another corner.
It's whipped in, just punched away by Gazzaniga.
Drops for Mascarelli, who hits it on the volley.
Maidrop here now for Kopete.
He slams the ball into the roof of the net.
The goal was coming.
Mallorca were knocking on the door.
A week of celebrations.
We'll see the celebrations continue.
50-50 duels.
And that's led to Mallorca having chances, mostly from corners.
La Liga doesn't have to do anything with that free kick just yet.
Another ball in now.
And it was John Solis who peeled off the back of the net.
Does well to play with John Solis.
And the back heel is a clumsy one.
Now it's Kylarin in the box.
Kylarin with the strike and he hits the side netting.
It's the wrong side of the post for the Canadian international.
But we love the game for the hosts.
And the header just over from Antonio Raillo.
Now it's Viktor Sigankov who tries to turn on the edge of the box.
Goes down, no foul.
Now it's Cristian Porto and he hits the effort over the bar.
That was a golden opportunity.
Girona, as on the final day of the season, Osasuna beat Girona,
who have a chance here now.
Cristian Porto is in behind.
The layoff now somehow for Savio and it's well blocked.
Out for a corner.
Girona, now Jan Kolto.
Cuts inside on two, he's left on targets.
And parried over by Raikovic.
He hasn't had to.
Dangerous when trying to win the ball back.
That led mostly to corners.
That's where their goal came from.
And in the second half, yes, Girona took a step forward,
but they did really well to stay united.
