Sky News host Paul Murray criticised Labor for bringing in over 100,000 people in January and claims Australia is being “supercharged” while cost-of-living continues to climb.

“The only problem was one hundred and something thousand people ended up coming through in January … the biggest number in nine years,” he said.

“Then we see today based off that big January number … 375,000 will come into the country by June.

“If that is the case, we are going to end up with even more people in the country than last year’s near-record numbers.

“We are still being supercharged to too many people coming into the country and that is not a statement about race … it is about our capacity to deal with having more people.”
