(Serie A 2023/2024): Highlights MONZA - AS ROMA
Pellegrini. El-Sharawy staying wide, instead it's in to Lukaku.
Back for Pellegrini to strike! And there's the save from Di Gregorio.
Gagliardini. Now Kolpani. Djuric waits by the penalty spot. It's in towards Djuric!
And he caught the upright. That's back-to-back games now where he's struck the post. Djuric,
hence the wry smile. Cristante in a pocket of space. Lukaku for Pellegrini. And still Pellegrini!
That's magical. Nothing more than a half chance to define it thus is perhaps even generous.
Pellegrini showcasing his full skill set there to give Roma the lead.
Cristante looking for El-Sharawy. That's won by Pirindelli. Angelino nearly got in Dybala's way.
Dybala takes charge of the situation. He looks for Lukaku. There's his goal. This time Dybala does
get the assist. Lukaku back in the side. And it's his first league goal since De Rossi's first game
in charge. Fresh tonight after the rest against Torino. Dybala with the free kick. Of course he
scores. It's a magic week for Paolo Dybala. The hat-trick on Monday and this free kick thriller
on Saturday night. Paredes takes the set piece. Heusen went down. Cristante. Heusen very quickly
flagged up to the referee that he felt he was being pulled by Bondo. And Marco Piccinini has
seen enough. Penalty to Roma. Paredes to make it a very good night for Roma. Into the top corner she
goes. And Roma enjoying a wonderful evening out at Upower Stadium. Valentin Carboni was considering
the shot there. Instead it's with Andrea Carboni. And this time he gets his goal. It is his first
for Monza. It's a memorable strike if not a memorable match in which to find the net.
That is an absolute bullet from Andrea Carboni. It's a beauty.
It's another Roma win. They scored three against Torino. They've hit four here at Monza tonight.
Full-time score at Upower Stadium. Monza one, Roma four.
