EARLY SPRING TRY-ON HAUL _ transitional pieces from COS, Uniqlo, H&M and Arket (BQ)

Welcome back to a new video. Over the last few weeks I ordered some pieces for the upcoming transitional season and as you seem to really like these kind of try on hauls I thought I'm going to show them with you as well. But before starting just a little disclaimer because I think it's important to mention. I don't want you to feel pressured or forced in any way to buy stuff or I don't want you to feel like that you need to buy new things. That is definitely not what I'm aiming with these kind of videos. I do it mainly to inspire you and I find these kind of videos very inspiring. Not only because I feel like I need to get new things I can also see what I can create with my own stuff or what I really need in my closet. Like what pieces do I need to integrate to make my outfits work more for example. I just wanted to mention that don't feel pressured or forced to get new things. Of course I'm not keeping everything I show you in these kind of videos. I'm trying them on, I see what works for me, what would I wear and what would I wear for a long time so don't think that I'm keeping all this stuff. It's mainly to show you what's new on the market and just to give you an inspiration. I would say let's start with the first brand and the first item and I think you know by now that COS is one of my favorite high street brands and COS has again really cute things for the upcoming transitional season and I had to get some things. The first item I want to show you is this trench coat. So I first saw this trench coat in the store. I tried it on and I quite liked it but I was not too sure. I wanted to try it on with some of my stuff so I can see if it works for my closet or if it doesn't and that's why I ordered it just to try it on with some of my clothes and yeah I really like this trench coat. I don't own a trench coat and I do believe that it is such an essential but it's very hard to find the perfect trench coat especially for me because I don't really like every shade of this beige color. I don't think this color suits me a lot so it's very difficult and I also don't like the classic fitted trench coat so mine needs to be a little oversized and I also wanted it to be very long almost muxy so I'm excited about this. I've tried it already on in the store so I kind of know how it looks but we're going to try it again together and just to give you an idea how it looks on. And this trench coat has quite a fun detail. It comes with this hood so you can also take it off which is great because I don't think I would wear it with this. And I got this in a size medium. Here we have the trench coat and I'm not sure guys what do you think? It is very long. It's like almost muxy but it feels like there is too much material. You know what I mean? I am not sure. Let me know what you think about it. Maybe if you are taller then it would look better. I'm not sure if I'm maybe too short for this or maybe this is just a trench coat you have to go with your regular size but I just don't like the fitted trench coats and maybe I'm just not a trench coat person. Also not sure about this scarf thing. I mean it does remind me of the row a little bit but this just feels so stiff. I don't think I would wear it like this, you know? Yes or no. But it doesn't spark joy in me so I don't think I'm gonna keep it. Also like the pockets are down there. I think I'm just too small for this. I ordered this amazing white blazer and it looks so good. I'm obsessed. So when I saw this like it was love at first sight. I don't own any light colored blazers and I thought it would be nice to update my closet with one. And I just really like this on the model. It has quite an oversized fit. It has very broad shoulders. It's quite long. It's very structured. It is made of a heavy material but it's still quite summery in my opinion. Like the fabric feels very spring summery. It looks really really chic and very cool so I think I could style this in many ways but we have to try and see how it looks on. Maybe it's a little too oversized and too big. I'm not sure. But I do quite like it and I especially love the color because it's not this white white. It's more of an off-white color which I love. Got this in a size 38. Okay, what do we think about this blazer? I do really like it I have to say. It is very oversized, very structured. It's definitely not your classic blazer. I have to say that. I do really like it and I think I would wear this a lot. What do you think? I'm sure many of you will hate this blazer because it does have very broad shoulders and I do think it's very, how should I say it, I do think this is quite a tramp piece I have to say. But I don't know. I like that. I'm not sure how often I could style this to be honest. As much as I love it. But it is quite a unique and quite a loud piece. But what I really want to show you, this is just genius guys. This blazer has elasticated bands in the sleeves. So you can just pull them up and they stay like this. I mean, isn't this amazing? This is so genius. I think every blazer should have these elasticated things so that we don't have to put hair ties in our sleeves. You know? That's amazing. I love that. So the next item we have here is a basic striped t-shirt and I love COS t-shirts. I have a white one which I love. It has a great quality and I've been wearing it a lot. It's quite structured. This is the heavyweight t-shirt from COS because there are two different ones. There is one which is made of quite a light cotton material. These ones are the more structured ones. This has black stripes for your info because I'm not the biggest fan of navy stripes so I was quite happy when I saw that this had black stripes. So I really love this. And I got this in a size medium as well. Lastly, from the clothing section, I ordered these very baggy jeans. I love this on the model as well. It looks very cool, very edgy and I feel like this would be amazing for springtime because it's very flowy. It is made of this very, very light denim material. It's very thin. So I think great for summer as well. The thing I like most about these trousers are the string detail on the waist. So you can adjust it to your liking. You can also wear this low-waisted because it is quite baggy. But you can also make it quite tight and wear it high-waisted which I love. And I just really like the look these strings create. I'm excited to try it on and see how it will look on me. The color is this... How should we describe it? I think oatmeal. I do really like this color. I'm just not too sure how easy it is to combine because I don't know. How would it look with white? With white t-shirts for example. I'm not sure. I got this in a size 34. Definitely size down in this if you don't want it to be too baggy because these look quite big. I mean I haven't tried it on yet but I can tell from the waist that it's quite big. So I've combined the striped t-shirt with the baggy jeans and I love the t-shirt. That's definitely a keeper. It looks very cool. I love the fit of it. It's just a nice basic striped tee. And the trousers, I'm not sure. What do you think? I do really like the waist detail. Like the string detail which you can adjust to your liking. And you could definitely also wear this low waisted as I said before. But I do like it this way. The length of the trousers are perfect. I think they fit very nice. They are super comfortable. Definitely trousers I would wear for dinner because there's just so much room for food which is amazing. So very comfortable. Very lightweight. Do you like them? Let me know what you think about these. I'm not sure about the color. I do like it with this striped top right now but not sure. And the last item I got from COS is this cute tiny little bag. I was eyeing these bags for a long time and you know I ordered the bigger version of this the last time. You can see it in my last haul. But I really like this small one. I really like the fact that this is made of leather and I thought I would really like the color because online it looked like this very neutral cream color. But in real life it's a little bit more on the grey side. Yeah I think it's a little difficult to style. It's this in between color between beige and grey and it's not really taupe. So I'm not sure. What do you think? Should we keep it or should we return it? It's like very very cute. I really like the look of it. It's a top handle bag. I do feel like it would fit a lot. What do you think? Let me know in the comments. The next things I'm going to show you are from H&M. I'm going to start with these jeans because these jeans are one of my favorites at the moment. I have them already in two other colors. In a light blue which you have seen me wearing a lot and in a dark grey color. And I saw that they have another denim color which is this one. So I thought let's order it and try and see how this one looks. I don't know. I'm not sure about this wash because I'm quite picky when it comes to blue wash denim and this is not something I own or I ever owned. It looks a little bit, how should I say it, a little bit vintage-y. I'm not sure of the color. We will see how it looks on. And also do I need a third pair of the same jeans? What do you think? I do wear them quite a lot. I bought the first one I think a few months ago. Yeah, it was definitely before Christmas. And I've been wearing it non-stop since then. It's my favorite jeans. They are so comfortable. Oh, and also I got them in a size 34. So here we have the jeans. I don't think I love the color, I have to say. I was not sure about the color and now I don't feel like I would wear it. What do you think? It does have the Acne Studios denim vibe but I don't think it's my style. Next I ordered something which is quite unusual for me. It is this mini skirt, this pleated mini skirt and I quite like the look of pleated mini skirts with a long coat or a trench coat, some white socks and loafers. I think that's so cute for spring and I really wanted one and I also don't own a lot of skirts so I think my closet really needs some skirts and dresses. I mean it looks cute, I really like the look of it but it looks a little bit tiny, I have to say. I'm not sure if this will fit me and it also looks quite short but we will see. And I got this one in a size 34 as well. So here we have the pleated mini skirt which is very mini, it's definitely too short and although I think I should have sized up in this, I think this is a little bit too tiny for me. I would have really liked this skirt because I love the color, this dark grey color is so cute. I think it looks very cute with socks and loafers. It would look really cute with a leather jacket. Let me show you. I think this is such a cute look. Unfortunately, Lise has to go back but I'm sure I can find some other ones. But what I had in mind with this skirt is to combine it with a trench coat so I also want to show you how they would look with a trench. And this is the look with the trench. I do have to say I prefer it with the leather jacket because yeah, I can see that this trench is definitely not the right fit for me. But I thought this skirt would look really cute with a trench coat and I think I could also wear this with blazers so definitely a thing on my to-buy list, a pleated skirt but maybe one which is a little bit longer. Next, I have these jeans which are very similar to the COS one I showed you before. And I thought I'm gonna also try the one from H&M because the COS one is quite on the pricey side. I mean, it's a little bit more pricey than this one. And this is not a very classic model of a jean so I thought maybe this one would be better. I'm not too sure how often I will wear these jeans. They are quite a trend piece, I think, so I'm not sure if I want to pay a lot of money for them. And when I saw these, they look quite similar so I thought I'm also gonna try the one from H&M and maybe it will be even better. This one is like almost the same style as the COS one but the color is quite different. This is more of a white, off-white color. And here in this one, the string is not in the trousers, like it's not sewed in it. It's just attached. You can also take this off and wear it with a belt which I do like, I have to say, because it's more versatile than the one from COS. I prefer this color because it will be a little bit more easy for me to style this with everything I own. But we will see how it looks on, we will see which one fits better. And I got this one in a size 34. These are the baggy jeans with the string from H&M. First impression is that the COS trousers have a better flow. I think they are more lightweight and a little bit more flowy. The COS one is definitely baggier, also on the waist. This one is tighter but still not too tight. I don't know which one I prefer, what do you think? I do like the color of this one but I feel like the flow of the COS one is a little better. I'm just not sure, what do you think? And I also ordered the same jeans in black because I thought if they are cute then maybe I can keep the black one as well or maybe the black one I will like more. Because I don't have any black jeans actually, like black black. All my jeans are dark grey but I don't have any black jeans so I thought maybe this one is a cute one. Next I got this very basic tank top from H&M. It is cropped but not too cropped and it also has this round neck. All the tank tops I own are like the one I'm wearing right now so they don't have a cut out in the front and sometimes these kind of tanks look better with certain things. So I thought it would be nice to get this one and I wear these kind of things a lot so it's just a very good basic. This one I got in a size small because I wanted it to fit a little bit more loops. And the last item I got from H&M is this maxi skirt. I am very into maxi skirts lately. I don't own one but I've seen so many gorgeous girls on Instagram wearing them and they just look amazing in them so I really wanted to try one myself. This one is made of quite a thick material I have to say. You can definitely wear this during winter as well because it's very thick. It looks very structured. It has pockets and also these back pockets which look quite cute. It is I think high-waisted and it looks very very long. So I'm not sure if I'm not too short for this skirt because it looks very long. It also has this slit in the back. I really like the look of it and I really like the quality. This feels amazing. This is also a size 34. Guys, this is the maxi skirt from H&M. I do have to say I would love the fit of it. It fits perfectly like on the waist. It looks very cool, very chic. I think you could wear this in many different ways but sadly I'm too short for this skirt. Like it's way too long. I don't think it has the right length but I really really love the quality. I love the fit. I think it would be so cute if it was a little bit shorter. Of course I could bring it to my tailor and shorten it a little bit. But is it worth it? I'm not sure because this skirt is not the cheapest one. What do you think? Should I bring it to the tailor, cut it off a little bit or should I return it? The next items I want to show you are from Uniqlo. You know I love my Uniqlo basics. All my basic t-shirts are from Uniqlo. They are amazing. They have the best quality and I needed some new white t-shirts or not new but I needed more because I wear white t-shirts so much and white is a color that gets dirty a lot and very easily especially if you wear makeup. So I always need to wash them after I wear them once. So yeah I just needed more. I have to mention one thing. I got my first Uniqlo t-shirt from Tokyo. Then I loved it so much I bought more in Seoul and the Asian sizing is a lot smaller. All the t-shirts I got in Asia I got them in a size large and XL and they have a smaller cut than the ones you order and get from Europe. Just to let you know this is an XL and this XL is way bigger than the XL I got in Seoul. Let me show you. These are both the same size. This one is the one I got in Asia and this one is the one I ordered. You can see the difference right? This one is a lot shorter, a little bit tinier than this. If you normally buy your things in Asia and now you're in Europe maybe you will size down if you don't want them to be bigger. I do like the European sizing I have to say because this size I can also wear on its own because it's not too tight. The smaller ones I like for layering underneath something because the neckline is just better in my opinion. But yeah I got this in white, I also got a black one and this dark grey one. I don't have this dark grey yet so this is my first in this color. I am obsessed with the color, it looks amazing. If you haven't tried Uniqlo t-shirts please do it, they are the best and they are so affordable. When I was browsing for the t-shirts I saw this cute crop top in this light grey color and I don't have a crop top in this color so I thought I'm just gonna add that as well. The price was really good, it's quite affordable. I really like it, it's cute. And last but not least from Uniqlo I ordered these cardigans. So when we were in Asia my sister got this cardigan in black I think and I really like the look of it. We also got one for my mom and the quality is just so amazing. This is made of 100% merino wool and the price guys is just amazing. It is so affordable for a wool cardigan. Because I loved it so much on my sister I thought I'm also gonna get some. These are very very thin and perfect for the transitional season for layering. You can wear them on its own or you can layer them with t-shirts or tank tops or crop tops. You can also throw them over your shoulders. These are the perfect things to just take with you if you don't want to wear something too heavy but you still want to have something warm with you in case it gets a little bit more chilly during the day. This is just a great piece for that. I got this in a size medium. Then I got two more colors. I got it in this black. This I got in a size large and in a grey color. This is also a size large. I really like these kind of grey cardigans with a white t-shirt underneath. So I'm really excited to style this. Let's continue with the last brand which is also one of my favorite high street brands and it's Arquette. You know I love Arquette. They have such amazing minimal basic pieces and I just love the quality of their stuff. I found quite a few cute pieces for the transitional season so let's start with the first item. The first item I want to show you are these tailored trousers and if you're following my videos and if you're following me on Instagram you may notice these trousers because I own them in another color. I love them so much. The quality is just impeccable. They fit so nice. They are very easy to style. It's a wool blend trouser. The quality, the fit, the style, everything I love about these trousers. Also the price is quite reasonable for this quality. And because I love my other pair so much I thought it would be nice to get the black ones because I do own these black tailored trousers but they have a very different shape. So these are a little bit more classic and a little bit more straight legged and they just look very different. Also they feel different. The other color I have I ordered in a size 34 and sometimes they are a tiny bit too tight so I got this in a size 36 just to see if these fit better but we will see. These are the Arkyt trousers and I think they are too big guys. You know I sized up in these normally I wear a size 34. I got a size 36 because I thought it would be a bit more comfortable but they just don't fit perfectly on the waist like you know there is a gap. So I think I need to exchange that with a size 34 because I do love the trousers. Next I ordered this gorgeous cardigan and I was just obsessed with the fit of this like with the cut. It reminds me a lot of the Scarlet cardigan from Kate. I think this is a very very good dupe for the Kate cardigan. It feels very good. It's very structured. Quite a thick material. I love the pocket detailing. It's very cute. I'm just not too sure about the color. Again this is this kind of an oatmeal color and I'm not sure if this color suits me a lot. What do you think? And I got this in a size small. I do really like the cardigan I have to say. I love the structuredness and that it goes a little bit in in the waist and it snugs you in a little bit. I love the pockets. I love the sleeves. But I'm not sure about this color as I said. I don't think this color suits me very well. What do you think? I'm not sure. I feel like it washes me off a little bit. Then I ordered another maxi skirt. I know this looks exactly the same like the H&M one but it's very different. And I ordered these two because I wanted to compare them. Not because I need two maxi skirts. Definitely not. But this one is made of a very very light material. It's not as structured as the one from H&M. Again this looks so long and also a little bit big. So I'm not sure if this will fit me but it looks quite nice and I think these kind of maxi skirts are very very in trend right now. But they are also pieces which you can wear for a very long time because they are just classics and I really love it. I don't know. I think it would look very cute with some sandals but also with flats or with heels, with blazers, with knitwear. Like it's very versatile for sure. And I'm very excited to style this. And this one I got in a size 34 again. So I'm wearing the Arcade skirt and I have to say the fit is not perfect. The waist is a little bit big if you can see it. It's like very loose. The hip area is a little bit too big on me as well. This section like there is a lot of fabric. This skirt is also too long for me. I think I'm just too short for maxi skirts. This one has a slit in the front and also in the back which is quite cute. So yeah if you're taller definitely check it out because I do believe it's a great skirt but it just doesn't fit me. Next from Arcade we have this striped sweater which looked very very cute on the website. I think this is the perfect transitional sweater but what I have to say is the stripes are in navy and I'm not the biggest navy fan as you may know by now. Oh yeah I think I have to return this because I know I won't be wearing it a lot because of the navy color. I just don't think it suits me and it bothers me when it's navy. So I'm not sure. Maybe I get used to it. And this is a size small. This is the striped Arcade sweater. I really like the fit. I love the sleeves. I like the button details. I think it's great to throw on when you don't know what to wear but I know that the navy will bother me so I don't think I should keep it but if you don't mind navy then this is definitely a great transitional sweater and perfect for the upcoming season. Next item is this pleated miniskirt because you know I'm on the hunt for a pleated miniskirt and when I saw this I thought this could look really cute. I love the color. It's this light gray pinstriped one and I do like pinstripes I have to say. I don't have anything pinstriped I think in my closet. Do I? No I don't think so but I really like it. I think it makes it very classy but also cool in a way but the waist looks a little bit big. I don't know if this is a high waisted skirt or if it's a low waist skirt because if it's low waist then it's not something I will go for. I don't really like low waisted stuff but we will try. The Arcade pleated miniskirt has a very weird fit on me. I don't know why. I feel like it's a low waisted skirt. I'm not very into low waisted things and it doesn't fit properly on the waist. So even if I do it like low it's still not fitting properly. You know what I mean? It sits just very weird. I wish it was high waisted and a little tighter like that then it would be very cute. And I got this skirt mainly because I wanted to get something different with the same pattern which is this amazing coat. When I saw this coat on the website it was love at first sight. Like I got butterflies in my tummy. That's how excited I got. It is just perfection in a coat. Like guys look at it. It is a maxi coat, a very long coat with this structured shoulders which are a little bit more oversized. It looks quite oversized but it's not too oversized and I have to say I cheated. I already tried this on because I was just so excited to see and try it on. And it looks amazing. I love the fit. I love the color. I feel like I'm very into light gray at the moment. I just love the structuredness but it's also very light and flowy at the same time and not too stiff. I think I will wear this so much because I just can wear it with everything. It will go with everything in my closet and I think this style also goes with a lot of my stuff because I do like these kind of oversized and very long coats with baggy trousers as well. This is definitely staying but let's see how it looks on me. Oh and I got this in a size 38 so I sized up a little in it because I wanted it a little bit more loose. I wouldn't say it's too oversized. If you don't want it to be oversized then go for your regular size but if you want it a little bit more oversized then you could size up a size. Guys, this coat is definitely my favorite piece of this haul. Isn't it so gorgeous? I just love it so much. I love the length. It's almost floor length and I love that. It has these oversized shoulders with shoulder pads, perfect. I love the cut of it. I love that it looks structured but it's still kind of flowy because it's made of this light material. It's almost like a blazer but in a coat form so perfect for spring. I think I will wear this so much during the upcoming season and I can see me wearing this with so many things in my closet so this will definitely be a very nice piece to add into my spring closet. Definitely gonna keep the coat. I don't know what you think about it but I am obsessed with it, obsessed. And if you're on the hunt for a coat like this, definitely check it out. I will link everything down below in the description box. Also I quite like the skirt with this look because you can't really see the waist. I wish the skirt fitted perfectly because I would love to wear this look like as a set. I think it looks very cute. And the last item of this haul are these cute Mary Jane flats. Mary Janes are very trendy right now and I think they are so cute. I love the ones from Elia, the black ones with the studs on it. I love them. They are so cute but they are very expensive and not really a timeless piece I would say. So when I found these they really reminded me of those shoes but these are definitely more timeless. They are made of this very smooth leather. They feel amazing. They look very sleek, very minimal and quite comfortable. I really like the look of them. They are so cute. I'm not sure if they will fit my style but I hope they will because they look amazing. I will also try them with a lot of different outfits just to see if I could style them in different ways. These are the ballet flats. What do we think about them? I kind of really like them. They are quite cute I have to say. They do feel very comfortable. I don't know if they will be comfortable when I wear it for a long time but I don't know. I think they are quite cute. What do you think? Should I keep them? Something I also want to mention is whenever I'm about to get a new thing, I'm about to integrate a new item into my closet, the first thing I do is to think about different ways how I can style this with the things in my closet or when I order things. For example, this coat. I will try it on with my jeans, with my trousers, with skirts, with things I already own and see if I can wear them with those things. If not, then it's just a waste of money. Then I'm not going to get it. If I can style the item with most of my closet, then this is a good sign for me that I will wear it a lot and that I can integrate it into my closet. So that's definitely a tip I can give you before buying a new thing. Think of different looks. You can wear this certain piece with your clothes you already own. This was my early spring haul for the transitional season.
