Washington Today (3-22-24): House passes gov't spending, sends to Senate with hours until shutdown

U.S. House narrowly passes a $1.2 trillion FY2024 spending bill covering the departments of defense, homeland security, state and health, sending it to the Senate, which has until midnight this Friday night to pass it and get President Joe Biden to sign it into law OR there will be a partial government shutdown.
