Nurse Amy Gallagher says the healthcare system in the United Kingdom has changed “quite rapidly” after Tavistock Clinic was accused of promoting an extremely left-wing political agenda.

Ms Gallagher joined Sky News Australia host Rita Panahi to discuss the controversial mental health clinic.

“So when I did my nursing training over ten years ago I didn’t really see that much,” she said.

“You talk to people as individuals and you shouldn’t bring politics into discussion with a patient and you should keep your views to yourself.

“But I think in the last five to ten years that’s significantly changed and it’s happened quite rapidly, I know that the things that were being taught at the Tavistock were not just exclusive to the Tavistock.”
