Gov. Murphy signs ‘landmark’ affordable housing legislation

Gov. Phil Murphy signed a package of bills on Wednesday to reform the state’s affordable housing system, abolishing the defunct Council on Affordable Housing and requiring the state to set requirements and publish a list of affordable housing needs in every community, beginning next year.
