Transformers 2024 Movie Has High Expectations

One shall stand, one shall fall. Transformers 1 will be the latest installment of the Transformers movie franchise, and the box office expectations are sky high after two more stars have been confirmed. We've got all the details on Screen Rant. The latest Transformers movie will be an animated prequel and detail the origins of Cybertron. Now Scarlett Johansson and Tris Hemsworth have been cast to lend their voices. Hemsworth will voice Autobot leader Optimus Prime, while Johansson will be the voice of Alita. The pairing have had massive success teaming up for past movies including The Avengers drew 1.52 billion dollars worldwide, Avengers Age of Ultron 1.4 billion dollars, Avengers Infinity War 2 billion dollars, and of course Avengers Endgame blew away the box office with 2.8 billion dollars worldwide. But can they deliver box office results with an animated Transformers movie? Animated movies that gross over 1 billion dollars are few and far between, making it difficult for Hemsworth and Johansson to deliver. On top of that, the highest grossing Transformers live action movie drew 1.2 billion dollars, well short of the pair's lowest tally. Transformers 1 has all the ingredients to be a well-received addition to the Transformers franchise. The return to animation will be exciting for fans of the 1980s TV series, and already Scarlett Johansson has hyped up Transformers 1's animation style. The upcoming Transformers movie will also cover a subject that has been overlooked in previous projects, focusing heavily on the relationship between Megatron and Optimus Prime on Cybertron. Having Cybertron as the setting for the majority of Transformers 1 will give additional insight to the world of Autobots and Decepticons. Thanks for joining and we'll keep you updated on all the latest Transformers 1 news on ScreenRant.
