Navarro Blasts 'Partisan' Prosecution, Sentence on the Way to Prison

Before turning himself in to serve time in prison on Tuesday, Peter Navarro lambasted the entire process leading to his prosecution as 'partisan' politics by the Democrats, telling reporters 'Every person who has taken me on this road to that prison is a [bleep] Democrat and a Trump hater"

The former senior advisor to President Trump was convicted in September of two counts of contempt of Congress for refusing to provide testimony and documents to the House Select Committee members who were assigned to investigate the Jan. 2021 protest in front of the U.S. Capitol. He reported to serve his time earlier today after the Supreme Court in September refused to stay his sentence.

Navarro called the Jan. 6th committee "unlawful," railed against Congressional Democrats and the Department of Justice, an Obama-supporting judge, the Appeals Court and questioned his being sent to prison over misdemeanors.
