Brahms Six Pieces for Piano, Op. 118
六首鋼琴小品是由四首間奏曲以及各一首敘事曲與浪漫曲所構成。

從曲名來看好像富於變化，但曲想一貫流露出寂寞的情感。其中只有第三首敘事曲充滿變化的活力，因而成為布拉姆斯晚年的小品中特別受到喜愛的一曲。
第二號『間奏曲』：A大調。以極細膩的音符流動，中間部在簡潔的音響中浮現舒伯特的影子。
