Tchaikovksy: Francesca da Rimini

Santtu-Matias Rouvali conducts the Philharmonia Orchestra in Tchaikovsky’s dramatic Francesca da Rimini, recorded live at the Royal Festival Hall in London on 10 March 2022. Inspired by a scene from Dante’s Inferno, Tchaikovsky throws everything the orchestra has got at this terrifying tale of adultery, murder and damnation.
