(Laliga 2023/2024): Highlights BARCELONA - GETAFE

A game of football, and Barcelona, as I mentioned, two points behind Girona now, after their recent dip. Here's Greenwood, taking on the shot, hit hard and low, he is dangerous, watching very very closely now as the corner comes in, and it's flicked on, and over, at the near post. And a decent attack this time, trying to get him behind, and now it's Rafinha that they look for, and he is in behind, Rafinha through on goal, can he finish? Yes he can, a beautiful strike from Rafinha, and 20 minutes in, Barcelona have the lead. Look at the defence line of Getafe, Gaston was basically in the halfway line, and Genet was 5 yards behind. Continued his run forward, but instead it goes to Joao Felix, and he has it well saved by David Soria. Lewandowski, flicks it on, Rafinha, no offside, still Rafinha, and he had to shoot with his right foot this time. Forward, but Alderete intercepts and goes for goal, and a spectacular strike from Omar Greenwood. And now Mia, thinking about a shot, hits it, and it's off the post. And Ter Stegen, got a little lucky there, I think he got his hands on it. They're going to start putting some direct balls and crosses into the box, let's see Christensen now. Making the run, Joao Felix is unmarked in the middle, it's Joao Felix to make it 2-0. A great run down the right by Christensen, taking advantage of his new role in midfield to support the attack. His cross was perfect, there were no defenders near Joao Felix, and it was an easy finish for his fifth of the season. Threatened again as de Jong finds Gundogan, on to Rafinha, Soria coming out, can't get there. Rafinha back for de Jong, who makes it 3-0. And it's Barcelona heading for three points as the Getafe defence just opened up there. It was started by the run from Frenkie de Jong, and finished by the Dutchman as well. His second goal of the season, and Barcelona gets it back. Now inside for Fermin, and he forces the save from David Soria. As de Jong makes another run and plays the pass to Vitor Roque, can he finish? Soria saves, Fermin follows up and fires it in. And the youngster is really impressed off the bench today. He does put the cherry on the cake for Barcelona. Crunching finish, 4-0. Yeah, I think Vitor Roque had the opportunity. And now Getafe in a very convincing manner. A 4-0 victory, solid all over the pitch. Getafe did have their moments, especially when they were still in the game.
