‘’ Last night would have marked the kitten’s second day at our place, but the old tom had other plans. This big, gray, tom cat had been hanging around our house for a while now because I would sometimes give it food. It also had our unused motorcycle as its perching place, which the kitten had now made its hiding place. I should have realized that the big cat had already marked the whole house as its territory and that no newcomers would be safe. I was ignorant and it cost a life, an innocent kitten’s life.’’ That’s the most shocking and cruel thing I’ve seen in my life. And that’s the story we would like to share with everyone today.

Last night, a neighborhood tom cat killed the stray kitten that my daughter had picked up the day before.
She had made it a special box to keep it warm outside. I like cats but have repeatedly told her we couldn't keep any in our home. So the kitten slept its first night outside after it spent the day playing inside the house. I was undecided about its fate, but was already leaning towards adopting it. Its fur was white and light orange and it had green eyes. Like all kittens, it was playful and curious. It was also noisy. It meowed a lot, probably because of the stress from being abandoned. It was very cute.
