Lionel Messi Is Teaching Football In 2024

Orlando City trying to find a way through. It's Messi who breaks it up. Oh, and if you touch, around Santos. Instead, it's Messi, onto his left. Still Messi, over player who's down, and blocked by Anelli. My word, would that have been something. I mean, it's a great recovery from Brody to break the playoff, but how about this recognition for Miami? Can he finally get his hat trick, or halts it back to defend? Looks for Messi! Five! Furious, fantastic! That's the discipline of a performance you will ever see in Orlando City history. You turn it over, but no pressure on the ball. Gomez, it swerves, London. As free as they can, and how about the quality in the final third? Suarez may be running on one leg. Messi, Jordi Alba, back to Messi. Jordi Alba, cuts it across, Messi! That sense of inevitability. You cannot let them hang around. You cannot give them an opportunity. Lionel Messi levels the match for Inter-Miami. Messi, beautiful ball for Suarez on the first time. You're starting to see, little by little, the understanding between these two is not exactly human. The way that this ball is absolutely brilliant from Messi. Timing of the run. Messi, Messi, wrestle, back to Breit, forward simple ball to Messi. Messi driving forward, still legal, Messi! A magic moment just missed. And that's it for Newell's old boys when he was six years old. Slicing and dicing, taking players on, coming out of midfield, four or five defenders around him, it doesn't matter. Suarez, Messi, Messi scores this world! The way to find the game. Messi, forward, Jordi Alba, has a lot of room. Messi, what a touch, oh, Messi, he's on one! It's amazing to think, Inter-Miami are up 2-0 and he's done it. Messi, out, back to Messi, oh, cutting it to his right, Messi, still legal, Messi, still Messi, gets nobody. Into Messi, through for Robert Taylor, Robert Taylor, saved by Zachary McNeil, it's in! Keeps it away from Schlegel, Jordi Alba, Messi, turning, still Messi, brought down, free kick coming for Miami. Hard show, Messi, coming around, it's non-stop, it's relentless. Intriguing on Sunday. Messi, oh, does so well to turn away from Ohana. Crip-stop to Messi, to Busquets. Messi, sprays it out wide to Taylor. Oftentimes the best players are the ones that facilitate a ton. I think he's at his best when he's running off the ball. The whistle, it's Messi, it's top corner, it's clinical as always. Messi's got his first pre-season goal in 2024 and it's 3-2. Messi, oh, Gillespie makes the save, scrambling to his right, no one at the post, he didn't get a touch, it's a goal kick. Inches away from Lionel Messi. It is Messi, oh, it's headed off the line by Justin Glad. How about that? Salt Lake got it right. Messi! The show, today! My favorite part of this highlight is Suarez giving Alba an earful that the hat trick didn't come down. Gets around Ojeda, now Messi, onto his left, still Lionel Messi. Through four defenders, now clipping it to the back post, Gresel! Messi, Messi, over the top, towards Jordy Alba, McCarthy saves. Messi, as Suarez and Taylor flag down for now. Messi, oh, skips, cuts it. Towards Suarez, drops it, Messi, Lionel Messi, Messi! And here's Messi's best chance thus far tonight. Self-inflicted giveaways, flat-footed defending. Gough gets around Inelli, still Messi, now Jordy Alba is forward. Messi sees the Diago ball again, it's a beautiful ball, Suarez got it on the first time. Lionel Messi, still Messi, slides it through, and Gomez, second time tonight, Diego Gomez has had a wonderful chance. Accelerates away from Keliscan, still Messi, Suarez, and Gomez!
