Today, Animals My Love would like to share this surprising story with you
While I was doing my internship as a doctor, we worked on a rotational basis in all the different wards, …one of them being general-surgery.
I remember one of those exhausting shifts that carried on for 24 hours and I was just finishing off..
I was extremely tired and over worked, obviously, 24 hours is a killer shift. I felt hungry and dirty. As you know, in that state, the last thing one needs is to be nagged, or bothered unneccesarily .
On this particular day, I walked with the senior doctor, not wanting to be disrespectful to him , I patiently strolled along, and listened to him blabbering on about something random. I couldn't WAIT to slip away.

As we walked , we encountered a little African boy , he was only 8 years old . As we continued, there was this constant: "Doctor....Doctor...may I speak to you please?"
I thought to myself: "Good. Let him bug The Senior doctor. I just don’t have any more energy for patients.
As I prepared to slip away, I was informed by the Senior Doctor that the boy specifically wanted to see me. "Strange", I thought. "Why choose a junior if you an speak to the guy in charge.
I felt annoyed because I had found the perfect gap to leave until he called for me.

"How may I help you?" I asked, with a lot of inner frustration.
"I'm not looking for help sir," he said. "I came to say thank you."
