Gan Jing World’s “Kindness Is Cool” celebration event is held in Times Square, NY on Friday, March 8th at 1PM ET. The winners of the Kindness Is Cool Video Awards are presented the cash prize and showcased on a Times Square billboard in downtown Manhattan in New York City.
At 1:00 pm, the giant billboard made a striking debut in the bustling landscape of New York City’s Times Square, showcasing the impressive winning videos in the competition, lighting up the city with the important message of kindness. #BeKindBeCool
Guys, we are at two minutes until the ad is going to play on the huge oversized screen behind us.
We have all our winners waiting up there on the stairs.
So we've got Sam Coggin who is the gold prize winner or the top prize winner of that check for $10,000.
We have New Century Films. They won a check for $5,000 for their movie.
Displaying the spirit of kindness.
And we're just here patiently waiting for our ad to play.
As long as you have a heart of kindness and gratitude,
our society and our lives will definitely become better.
So we will continue to create more movies that can inspire people in the future.
I also hope to share the concept of kindness with more friends.
Thank you, kindness is cool.
Kindness is the reason we're here, the reason we want to be here.
Because we want to spread kindness.
The process, it was all about kindness.
We kindly helped each other out.
Well, I think what David is doing is really, really, really cool.
So whenever I was reading through the kindness awards,
I saw the Adaptive Training Foundation and I was like,
oh, I have to do that one for the kindness award.
