Exploring 100 Lakes | 3-Day Solo Canoeing, Wild Camping and Fishing Adventure

In the middle of June I went for a solo canoeing, wild camping and fishing trip south of Jokkmokk called Kronogård Nature Reserves to explore lakes and the area that consists of over 100 lakes and beautiful ancient forest. I brought my solo canoe with a yoke and camping gear and headed out into the wilderness. This is an area that I have been looking at for a long time but never been visiting.
It’s tiny small lakes with short portages between them and it’s very easy to find good camping spots and it’s an exciting area for wildlife and fishing. I saw huge fishes in the lakes but they were sadly not interested in my lures. The fishes you find here are both arctic char, and wilderness trout but also planted rainbow trout in some of the lakes.
