(Serie A 2023/2024): Highlights AC MILAN - ATALANTA

Teo Hernandez, Gasperini mentioning that you can't predict Milan as you can't predict Liao. After five months without a goal in Serie A, you knew it was going to be something special when Rafael Liao returns. What a hit. Ruggeri's pass to the arriving Edison. Try to play it simply, Benasseur's touch and then driven through. It was Derone, Holm and a save from Magnon that falls in front of Charles de Ketelada. De Ketelada comes short again. Now the Russian, swung in by Ruggeri and it was a clever flick by the defender. Jim City swung in and Holm's gone down and there was a high boot from Giroud. Atalanta potentially now with a spot kick. Penalty kick has been awarded to Atalanta. The Dutchman is one of the coolest operators in Serie A. Kopminus, down the middle, Ladea draw level and maybe that will just give Atalanta the spark they need to start to get their play going. Rafael Liao keeps it low, Giroud pivots, Benasseur, the captain, Calabria. Good stop from Carnesechi, that one was far more difficult. Carnesechi, the season really has been excellent. Pulisic's gonna get there, control and the finish goes just wide. It would have been something special but the American just missed times the shot. Teo Hernandez, all over the top. Rafael Liao still gets there, Carnesechi and off the line by Zappacosta. Rafael Liao nearly with the double. A hard-fought match, points shared at the end. It finishes Milan 1, Atalanta 1.
