So it's great to stay in Omiya. You can get there just by taking the JR Kawagoe Line. Get up late. It doesn’t matter at all. I got on the bus. This time I planned a one-day trip to Kawagoe. However, the station closest to the historical monuments is not JR Kawagoe Station but Honkawagoe Station on the Seibu Shinjuku Line, so you have to transfer to the bus to the station and go to the Kawagoe Station Tourist Information Center first . The service staff carefully introduced the bus information to me in English and suggested that I first take the map and timetable and go to the east exit to take the bus and carefully check the bus stop locations of each route ! I got the bus and bought a one-day ride this time. The ticket is applicable to the Koedo Meisho Aya bus and the Tobu bus in designated areas. When I just bought the ticket, I asked the service staff how to use it. She said that I just need to show this to the driver, so I went to the front to show it before getting off the bus. The driver looked at the first stop of the day, Renxinji Temple. This temple was built in 1549. It is a Buddhist temple. It also enshrines one of the Seven Gods of Good Luck, Fortune, Fortune, and Longevity. After worshiping the dragon wood carving , we walked to the next point on foot to Kumano Shrine . It is a Shinto shrine. There are more than 3,000 Kumano Shrine shrines in Japan. The main gods enshrined in the main hall are Izanagi, the God of Hayatama, and the God of Interpretation. The cute Godzilla in Kawagoe Shopping Street is worthy of being a historical ancient city. The buildings look very historical, such as this Kameya, which has a history of more than 200 years. There are many stores selling Japanese products such as pottery, chopsticks, Japanese accessories, etc. , which are not low in pickled goods, つけもの小江戸 There are many kinds of ginger and radish inside . Gyodenji Temple has a history of about 700 years. The main hall was rebuilt in 1812. Unfortunately, it is forbidden to visit . The carvings on the beams and pillars are very beautiful, but it is nice to appreciate them from a distance. I just saw them. The rickshaws and foreign drivers continued walking. There was a shop selling bonito flakes. They sold freshly grilled rice balls. There were two flavors: sardine and bonito. I ordered one each . The bonito is more common, but the sardine flavor is more special. You can try it. Entering a fruit shop, Kameya Eisen bought a bunch of sweet potato snacks, which are taro fruits, and he ate them randomly. They tasted the same as Hualien potatoes . I thought taro meant taro at first, but it turned out to be sweet potatoes. I continued on to the next pottery store . This shop is not only a pottery shop, but also has a ceramics classroom and a cafe. It sells many works made by potters, each with its own characteristics . In the alley next to it is the Chokiin gate, Chokiin, which was built in 1550. It is not a tourist attraction but there is a cemetery next to the temple. It should be noted that in the Edo period, a white fox was killed and eaten. However, those who ate the fox meat immediately became sick, and supernatural phenomena often appeared in the town. The fearful residents buried the skin of the white fox. , bones, and built a shrine named Yukizuka Inari Shrine, which has been enshrined to this day. Next, continue walking to the bell next to it. This street is bustling and antique. The most famous one is the clock of time . This clock tower is the fourth generation and was built in In 1894, it was designated as a tangible cultural property by Kawagoe City. Behind the tower is the Yakushi Shrine. You can pray for good eyesight. The Toki Bell is still in use today. Its bell is an introduction sign for Japan's 100 Sounds and Scenic Spots. Dine across from the Toki Bell. This is the room.
