Rep. Jenny Graham on I-2081: We need to reunite and bring back trust between parents and teachers

During House floor debate, Rep. Jenny Graham stood up in enthusiastic support for the people's initiative, for the people's voice. Initiative 2081 would create a Parents' Bill of Rights. The initiative is similar to a bill Graham sponsored in 2023 (House Bill 1601). She stated: The divide we have that's made it difficult for parents and teachers and children to be able to work together as a team because of a lack of communication has created a situation where healthy boundaries have become necessary. The goal is to reunite and bring trust back between parents and teachers.
